i want to volunteer at a base and help them ship out soldiers (like give them food and stuff) not actually go to Iraq. sorry to confuse

no such animal. only authorized personnel process deploying soldiers.

Try the USO or AER/NMCRS/AFAS. they utilize volunteers on and off base.

Your best bet is to get with the local USO (United Services Organization) They are the one that usually do that. Or the red cross sometimes does it too. Depending where you are at there may even be a loacl vlounteer "support our troops" organization.

that is so stupid..they should let you and your grandma volunteer..tell them you have to take care of your grandma, what is the reason they wont let you in?.and what base is this?
