Love my parents. Sometimes I don't always like everything that they do, but I always love them.

(Huh...come to think of it, that's the same way I feel about my kids. lol)

I really love my parents, and yes I think they've done a great job in bringing me up. I also think that, perhaps everyone always does love their parents deep inside no matter how bad they've been treated by them, but it is possible to feel like you hate your parents as well of course.

I love my parents however I have resigned myself to the fact that they are pretty lousy, in fact my mother is pretty awful. She's not changing and neither is my father, they are almost 80. I think its a shame, but not everyone is capable of raising children or should ever reproduce. I did a better job with mine and broke the cycle. I don't bother hating anyone, its a waste of energy.

Sure, I love 'em! They did a good job raising me considering we don't have much. Yeah, all people get annoyed with their parents, but you've got to remember that you really still love them even though you're angry. But they raised me better then their parents raised them and I respect them for that!

they did a poor job. they don't know the responsibility of being parents, they care more about themselves than their kids, they are imature.
but what can I do, I can't change them, certainly not what they have done to me .

They thought I'm their 'possession', a long term investment .But I'm not, I took their money, but I have my own free will. I don't belong to them.

I don't hate them unless they went too far to the point trying to control me or manipulate my dicision. They don't think children are gift from God, have their own free will. And they are just be blessed to be a part of their children's life, not control their life, not take their children's life as their own.

do I love them? I don't love them as parents because they rarely did what parents should do. But I will love them as people.

I did not appreciate my parents until I was in my late teens early twenties - NOW, I am best of friends with both of them and we can finally talk about anything. As a spoiled brat addicted to hard rock music, men, fast cars and motorcycles, I was NOT any parents dream of a daughter!

My mom did the best she could with the cards she was dealt, and she played her hand wonderfully. My dad, cares only about himself and is concerned only of his feelings, and he had no desire to be apart of my nor my siblings life. his choice. his loss.
However, i love my parents (yes even my dad) dearly (my mom is my best friend, hero, anchor, and soft place to fall) and i think they did a mighty fine job rasing me and my siblings.

I don't see how anyone can hate their own parents who brought them into this world.
