Well, I take Revelation more literally, and I don't believe it has begun yet. There hasn't been hail, fire, and blood yet. There hasn't been a star falling from Heaven and ruining our water yet. There hasn't been a drastic drop in temperature due to a third of the Sun, moon, and stars disappearing yet.
I believe that the Rapture will happen before any of the judgements in Revelation occur.

It's all there in Revelations. It's been going on. Read the book, it's sometimes hard to "understand fully" at times. The Bible is right - always has been and always will be. There is so much evil and negitivity going on around us, that it's hard to believe and or see the bigger picture when we focus on the little things.
I know when I tried reading Revelations almost 15 years ago, I couldn't fully grasp it. Some say ignorance is bliss, I can't agree with that. Anyhow, flash forward 15 years, I have a better understanding of the book and what is going on now. Not because I am older and wiser, but because I think I was finally growing and learning things on a "spiritual" level. We all have purposes here, and they are being revealed as the time draws near; and I think with that, there are people with simple or complex minds, meaning it's not necessarily a "need-to-know" type of thing but I believe we are here for different but equally important reasons. Sometimes the complex minds don't understand the most simple ideas and the simplest things can sometimes seem so complex, but at the end of the day, it's going to take all of us, to make a difference, to do the job we were sent here to do.
It's all there all in Revelations. And I know we are coming towards the end of time. I couldn't see it 15 years ago, but, I see it more clearly now. I think 15 years ago, I wasn't ready.....and now, God knows where I am, and I am ready now, to take on my responsibility I was sent here to do. Maybe that is why I understand Revelations so much more now. I hope you do too. I know this doesn't really answer your question, but maybe it will help you with why it's not making itself very clear to you yet. God Bless!!

Well, the word of God states that only the father knows.
Your brother the pastor already knows this.
Just remember, there have been many times in history where it could seem like the tribulation had started. A notable one of many is the onset of social security numbers. Many swore that if you took a number it was the mark.
My own thoughts aside, we just do not know, but the word of God states that when it happens, all will know, just as all see a lightning strike across the sky, even though we are many miles apart.
The only thing we can do, is always be ready for the tribulation , for the word of God states that just as in the days of Noah, all will be going about their daily life , busines as usual, and all of a sudden the world will start turning upside down, just as in the days of the flood.

No it has not happened yet. After the rapture of the church. But it does appear that we are very near the time of the return of Jesus.
Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour, only the Father. But we will see signs pointing toward the end.
We are seeing many signs.<><

eh,, we are screwing a lot up.
Did you know that a lot of the insects in north america such as Bumble bees are dying out, because of radio waves and stuff for cell phones?
They cant get home and they get all confused!
Its sort of sad,, cause i like honey
But dont be afraid of "the end."
It is supposed to come in 2013 at the end of the mayan calendar.
So,, just enjoy life and live well.. dont get to in your head about god or what men have made religion,, we will never have any answers till the hour glass is cracked and broken anyway.
and.. no.. 1/3 of all sea life has not already died... he is incorrect.
But thousands of new species are discovered everyday on our amazing planet.
Most of them are insects in the rain forest.. but alot of them are sea creatures.
Anyway..
I wouldnt worry about revalations.
Don't worry about anything.
be like the violet, and be the best little violet you can be.

mc: Remember; that is your brother's opinion. One thing I can tell you, is when it happens, those still alive will have no problem about the awareness of this event.
