I'm moving to Guanacaste, Costa Rica and I don´t know where to find somedody to furnish my house. I look on line but I just find some furniture stores and their product doesn't look very nice. I need to find something durable and with good quality because I'm going to rent it too. Any sugestions?.

You might want to try an interior designer, this one is the best one I´ve ever met!

He´s a pro in Guanacaste area.

But if all you want is quality furniture, you might want to try in the San Jose area and have them move it to Guanacaste. I would suggest shopping in Curridabat, Escazu, or San Pedro. Here´s a listing of furniture stores, in Spanish though, but I guess it could help http://www.publiboda.com/otros_paises/costa_rica/mueblerias/index.html

Theres also one called La Artistica which is meant to be pretty good, but I dont think their furniture is beachy..

Also, you can look around in Guanacaste itself, there are many artisans there and you might find some cool stuff for decoration. Or maybe buy some funky furniture at design schools, I think they sell them, but I´m not sure.
Hope you enjoy living in Tamarindo! It´s HOT!

Look around once you get there. I have seen design shows that go to Costa Rica and find great things there. Once you are there, ask around to find a furniture rental business. Or if they don't have furniture rentals there, buy what you need, then sell it when you are through with it.

Do you know people in Costa Rica?? If so ask them where they bought their furniture.
