I asked a good question earlier about Adam & Eve regarding children and how certain individuals came about because Eve was the only woman on earth, yet there is no real explanation of how Cain found a woman in the land of Nod...So is it possible that Jesus did have a wife and children considering that there is the possibility of parts of the Bible missing (due to wars or something lost over time)?

First off when Constantine had his little meeting on what should be in the Bible there are parts that he decided where not worth while to put into the Bible. As for Jesus being married we are told that he is our perfect example and to follow him. He is also referred to as Rabbi and Raboni. Both of which are Jewish teachers. In order to be a Rabbi one has to be 33 years old and married. Why would we be told to do everything that Jesus does if he was not married. We are told to get married and multiply and replenish the earth. I believe that he was married and probably had children. I don't see the harm in thinking that he was married.

Well, if you want the entire story about what happened in the Jewish Torah (to Christians, the Old Testament), you have to go to Jewish sources because the Church didn't take those parts along when they took the Torah and stuck it on to their New Testament.

So I'll leave the Cain question, since you didn't ask that now, but as far as Jesus having children, I can only tell you what the prophecy is for the actual Jewish messiah.

He is to be born of a married Jewish man and woman in the usual way, wholly human, not a god/man, not born of a virgin (this is a deliberate mistranslation by the Church), and he grows up, marries, and has sons to whom he leaves an inheritance, and he lives a long life.

He doesn't die as some human virgin bloody sacrifice for sin for the world. That is not how people attain a place in the World To Come in Judaism, and never has been. That idea comes from ancient paganism which Christianity adopted into their theology.

He of course also rules from the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem, ingathers all the Jews, there will be no more war, no more illness, peace over the entire earth, Universal Knowledge of God so that no man ever need teach another again (or debate, as goes on all over, let alone religious wars).

There are only about 16 original prophecies, not the hundreds that the Christians have invented out of the text that don't exist. And Jesus fulfilled none of the actual prophecies, not one.

There have been literally thousands of men who have claimed to the Jews to be the Messiah. Not one of them has fulfilled these prophecies, therefore they were not the Messiah.

There is no such thing as a "second coming" in Judaism, and never has been - again, this is a Christian invention.

The Jews still hold to the criteria given to them by God on Mt. Sinai by which to judge the true Messiah, and they have not wavered from that since the beginning until now.

It has nothing to do with "the jews were expecting a warrior messiah and he came as a baby or as a man of peace" stuff as the Christians say.

Jesus didn't fulfill the prophecies, and that is why he is disqualified, period. Same as the rest of those who have tried to claim the title of Messiah.

So you see, the Jews are not "blind" as the Christians say, which is a very convenient thing to say when trying to take over and wipe out a previous religion, don't you think?

Read these and you will know much more about the actual Jewish messiah according to Judaism than most Christians will ever know (or listen to):

You know Adam & Eve were on this earth long before Jesus was ever born so no at the time of Cain finding him a wife in the land of Nod would not have been one of Jesus' children.

Well, it's fact that the King James edition of the Holy Bible went through an editing process before its release. Therefore it is possible that Jesus did have a wife and children. Just how possible, however, is where the real debate begins.

I think it is reasonable to believe Jesus was married and had children. There is so much not written, so much we don't know about His life between the ages of 12 and 30 - both the only few references we have as to His age in the Bible - when He was in Jerusalem for Passover and His parents had to go back and fetch Him, and when He officially began His ministry. My church believes that this information was omitted on purpose to protect the identity of His wife and children - for if men take both the name of God the Father and Jesus in vain, imagine what they would be saying about any wife and kids! It stands to reason and logic that Jesus followed the traditions of the Hebrews at that time and married young, had children and then began His ministry when His children were grown. I think that omitting all information is a wise way to protect any family members, considering they martyred His brother James on the cross, as well as killing or beheading all of the apostles.

Cain was sent to the wanderers of the Earth. God can create wanderers. Anyhow on this same notion, it doesn't explain how the first table was invented, the slug, pizza, nor dinosaurs. That isn't the point. Just because it is not there doesn't mean it is critical for us to know.
----------------------------------
The Bible teaches that we have been delivered all the scripture we need once and for all to the saints:

Jud 1:3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
-------------------------------

God doesn't make mistakes, and he is far bigger than circumstance. There is a part in the Bible where Jesus tells Peter to go get a Fish and pull their tax money out of its mouth. God situated everything perfectly.

God was here to fulfill prophecy, and that required 100% of the law being fulfilled. Jesus taught celibacy, but not as a mandate.

He was not a hypocrite. In fact he hated hypocrites.

Luk 11:44 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites![7] For you are like graves which are not seen, and the men who walk over them are not aware of them."

We are not told everything in the Bible.
John 21:25 States, Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Jesus purpose for being on the earth was to die for our sin. He did not marry. His bride is His church, the people who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. See Ephesians 5:25-33.

Revelation 19:7, tells us that the wedding will take place in Heaven.

your assumption that the bible was a complete set of works at one time is your first error. this set of works we call the bible are a bunch of smaller books which we hold dear because amongst the small changes done to the book over the centuries it is the most correct over history.

you may find millions of errors and omitions in this book. there are quite literally 20-30 prophets mentioned in the bible who do not have books included in the bible. there are references to pieces of scripture not included in the bible. the time line is not a complete time line and even if it was it is a small picture of what was happening then. time lines happen to be specific to a blood line since it would boggle our mind trying to see how the millions yea even billions of bloodlines have interacted with the Divine.

do you have a journal? well if we included your journal your first sons journal and his first son and his first son and his first son. that would be like the bible...now each of these people had 5 - 8 sons and daughters if we tryed to include all their journals and interactions with Deity we would be confused as heck.

as far as marage and procreation of Jesus...who knows? and really who cares! what does that have to do with faith, baptism, repentance and you doing the right things to make it to heaven?
it doesn't have any thing to do with the cornerstones of the gospel.... you are speaking about one of the grain of sand that is under your house.... if you do not concentrate on building a firm foundation...when the floods come your house will wash away!

so don't sweat the small points (sand)of the gospel....work on those large(corner stones) parts of the gospel.

If God commanded Adam and Eve to have children, and if God says Christ is his son, then God must believe in families, and Christ was probably married and could have had children. Also, they called Christ "Rabbi" and only married men could be called that. Also, when Christ was at the wedding where his mother told him they were running out of wine, it could have been his OWN wedding because the host/bridegroom was responsible for the wine. Anyone who says Christ remained single has most of the evidence going against them. Christ NEVER preached celibacy and that would be going against God's commandments regarding marriage and families. Churches who believe in celibacy today are following false doctrine. Man was never meant to be alone.

If Jesus started his ministry around the age of thirty, as many believe, then there is a missing 18 years in his life. It is anyone's guess as to what went on. Certain oshuaries were recently discovered that could have the remains of a son of his called Jude.
