God has a time only He knows when the end of humanity will be. The signs of the nearness of this time is at hand. If you read Revelation in the Bible, you'll see how the future will be. In this book is warnings and hope for our future. More and more events will unfold to bring about the end of humanity. But when you are in the family of God, you have hope in a future with God/Jesus. We true christians will not suffer God's wrath that is coming upon the whole world. You can be assured and secured in Christ if you belong to Him. God bless

Good question, Jeremy:
People have been awaiting Armageddon for centuries, but although it delays, it will surely come.
You may recall that when Jesus approached Jerusalem, the multitude was intimidated by the Pharisees, and quit shouting Hosannas. But Children took up the cadence as Jesus approached the temle courts. He said: "leave them alone, if they did not shout, the rocks will."
That means prophecy must fulfill, even if the rocks do it.
Likewise, the prophecies of Israel returning have fulfilled, and those Christian nations that were named as attacking Israel at the end of the days are Islamic majorities--yes, Armageddon is coming.
There is a web page that describes THE RISE, DECLINE, AND DEATH OF ISLAM IN BIBLE PROPHECY. It will answer your questions at http://abiblecode.tripod.com Select the ISLAM link

It sure seems that way! But God has a plan for us.....
When Scripture mentions "the time of the end" or "the end of the age," it is referring to the coming end of the present evil age. This age—in reality the age of Satan—will draw to an end, replaced by the age of God's rule over and guidance of all of humanity. Jesus is pictured in the book of Revelation as the resurrected Savior, the Messiah who is preparing to return to earth a second time. "I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore" (Revelation 1:18).
Responding to the disciples' question, about the time of His return and the end of this age of man, Jesus laid out a frightening scenario that includes widespread religious deception, warfare, famines and devastating natural disasters. "All these," He told them, "are the beginning of birth pains" that will usher in this new age to begin at His return (verse 8, NIV).
At the point that mankind faces annihilation. "It will be a time of great distress, such as there has never been before since the beginning of the world, and will never be again. If that time of troubles were not cut short, no living thing could survive; but for the sake of God's chosen it will be cut short" (verses 21-22, REB).
Why must Jesus Christ return? Conditions will have grown so terrible, so life-threatening, that human life will be in danger of extinction. He came to earth the first time to save us from our sins. He will come a second time to save us from ourselves.
Initially at least, it will not be a pretty sight. Revelation 6:16-17 describes Him as coming in wrath because of mankind's continued refusal to obey His laws and the world's continual slide into evil and self-destructiveness. His return is announced with the sounding of trumpets ushering in monumental calamities on the earth (chapters 8 and 9). Yet in all of this it is His great concern for mankind that leads to this righteous anger.
Jesus is pictured as the One who is returning to rule the nations of the entire earth (Revelation 11:15). He will not accept resistance from anyone who opposes His righteous rule and will make war with the nations and the leaders who oppose Him (Revelation 19:15). He punishes and takes charge for our own good—to bring peace to a world bent on destruction.
This is perhaps the most important picture of Jesus in the Bible, because this is the Jesus Christ the entire world will meet sometime in the coming years—perhaps in the not-too-distant future.
From these prophecies it becomes clear that Jesus didn't die for us to have our own way. "...He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ..." (Philippians 2:8-10).
Jesus will take His rightful place as ruler of the earth, as the saving Messiah, when He returns.

Concerned?! YES. about the bees and so much more.
One of the most frightening things is the depletion of our oceans. We have consumed over 90% of our ocean life/resources in the past 50 yrs.
(if it took just 50 yrs. to deplete 90%, how much longer do you think the last 10% can last?)
When the oceans die the planet's atmosphere will no longer support any human life, much less any other kind of life.

I think people will live in space or other planets or moons someday. In which case a few will survive when humans disappear from Earth. It will probably be atmospheric conditions caused by the species that will cause a major extinction event in the world.

ive only been on this earth 57 years. being a photographer, i tend to be observant. the most important thing that ive learned is that people dont learn from their mistakes. especially, people in charge. what did not work in the past is somehow going to work now. that is where we are today. repeating past mistakes. so yes, man will do himself in.

I believe, yes man will be the end of our own demise! Because ruining this planet ex. Pollution, animal endangerment, is all going to ruin this planet. The planet is much stronger then us! We are just a virus that needs to be killed! I love life as much as the next person, but not enough to ruin the very thing that keeps us alive! We humans think we are strongest thing on this planet, but the thing we forget is the planet it self has a mind of it's own and is going to do what it needs to do to save it's self! And evidentally we are the thing it needs to fix! Destroying this planet isn't going to make us stronger it's going to make us weaker. Because without this planet we will never be strong because this planet is the very thing that keeps us alive!
