Ok, well I have this weird cough. I really don't have anything else I sort of have a mucus nose but its not plugged up just a tiny bit of mucus in my nose. Easy to blow out, I don't think thats serious. Anyway every 5-10 minutes I start to get an itchy throat and sounds like I have asthma and I cough a couple of times. Its hard coughs too. Like it hurts my stomach a little bit but not a lot because I am like flexing really fast because of the cough if that makes sense. When I cough I hack up some snot? I cough and then I sort of push up to bring it in my mouth and spit it out. The back top of my throat is a little bit itchy but not a lot. This is very very very annoying. It happens constantly the flem is gross sometimes I don't have to push it up my throat at all it just hacks up into my mouth and I spit it out. I really really am depressed because of the way I feel now. It is very very very VERY annoying!!! Please what do you think I should do or what do you think is wrong!??!

Does the cough also sound, well, wet?
If it is, I think I know what you are talking about.
*This is a serious condition called Annoying Cough Syndrome, BLAH BLAH BLAH*

Yes, that part was made up...
I suffered from this before and hated it intensely.
I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but it takes a couple of WEEKS to go away...

TIPS to FEEL BETTER:
Get a strong RICOLA coughdrop, preferably mint or echinocea. If you hate the flavors, switch to the lemony one.I know it tastes bad, but these work better than the fruity ones (or so it seems to me).

Actually, get a BIG bag of Ricola coughdrops. You're going to need it.

Carry a tissue packet with you and feel free to cough up the phlegm. You think it's bad outside? Just imagine the bacteria in that building up in your throat. Toss out the soiled tissue PROPERLY, you do not want to stuff it into a pocket and figure out that is the reason why you still suffer from it after several weeks.

Drink milk and soup. The moisture helps.

Go to the doctor and ask for strepp bacteria tests. These take about 5 minutes or less. If it is strepp, you will be prescribed antibiotics. Finish all your antibiotics even if your feeling great. There can be some bacteria hiding in the grooves of your throat. You want to exterminate them all.

I am NOT a doctor, just a fellow sufferer sharing tips. If something goes wrond, I am not liable.

With that said...

Get well soon.

It really sounds like you are allergic to something around you. I react just like that if I'm around mold. Sometimes air conditioning will set me off, and I found out some ducts can harbor mold, plants can too, as millions of other things. My daughter has asthma and the only symptom she ever has is a cough, then if she doesn't use her inhaler she'll end up with a severe headache. I would see your doctor right away and he can confirm if it's allergy related and give you medication to control it. Of course, it could be asthma but that is controllable also. In the meantime, try keeping track on where you are set off the most, what's around you, what have you eaten, etc. Maybe you'll come up with an answer yourself. Good luck and hope you get it figured out quickly!

Sounds like you may be suffering from terminal sinus problems that can effect your throat and larynx and even your hearing at times in addition to your nose.

If you switch from mucus generating dairy products to soy milk that should certainly help.

Also red meat is mucus generating so if you switch to white meat that should also help.

There is a product that you can get at Health Stores that contains horse radish, garlic, Vitamin C, fenugreek and marshmallow and this is supposed to reduce mucus formation.
