Sex is overrated. maybe coz of the lack of it.
Marriage is the communion of 2 people as in 2 souls.
where they share everything from not the joys to the pains. not just sex. Animals have sex and provide for each other too. but they abandon their partner if the other cannot satisfy the needs. This is in my belief, what separates animal thinking and human thinking. A successful marriage in real terms is one when both the partners care for all the needs of the other. It cannot be one sided or cannot be just for the joys. U share the joys n pains. Its a continuos Give and take. By comparing holy matrimony to prostitution is not correct. You dont miss a prostitute when he/she is gone or not available, you just get another one. An honest Marriage is when you miss your partner and wait and sacrifce for them. Lets say if a wife leaves her husband coz he got injured and cant work and earn money for her anymore.. then thats wrong too. And if a Man leaves a woman coz he doesnt enjoy the sex with her or lets say she is unable to have sex at all due to lets say another medical problem. then thats wrong. Marriage is meant for 2 souls. not 2 bodies. Sex is for bodies. There is a big difference. I hope i cleared your doubt :)

That depends on which side of the law you are sleeping with. Prostitution is when the sole motive of our existence is to use our body as an object of trade. In a marriage the man and women sacrifice their bodies to be "used" by each other in mutual love and respect.
When a child is born, both the husband and wife have contributed to that life. Do you think that men only use their wives bodies! I think there are many men who also care about their wives sexual satisfaction above their own!
What makes a difference is the attitude with which you approach sex. In a marriage it is a beautiful gift in which you truly show someone that "this is how much I love you and can give you without reserve of myself" Sex in a marriage is the resultant end, and not the end result.

No. It is not a Prostitution. It is not only to get physical satisfaction but also to get mental satisfaction . You are safe from the woman,a wife. No cheating. Nearness leads emotionally involvement. Without intercourse , i.e. real sex, also gives happiness. It has a social sanction. A woman ,a prostitute, can not live with a one man. Marriage gives this benefit to the man from the woman. If she be a prostitute, though she is wife, observe that type of family, its tragedy. Therefore, marriage is not a sort of prostitution .It is requirement of the Society for the safety of both the Man and Woman and also of the Family.

First thing let me tell you your professor who told you to equate prostitution with marriage must be in matrimonial trouble with his own wife thus he consider wife as prostitute which simply shows his mental status is not fit enough to be in the profession of teaching & he should be immediately suspended from his job of professorship & referred for proper medical care to some hysteric institute. Now coming to the main question regarding whether marriage is a sort of prostitution as man do sex with woman as he provides home & other matrimonial facilities to her, this statement itself shows that if the pleasure is only meant for man & not for woman which itself is medically wrong statement. As far matrimonial responsibilities are concerned these are being mutually shared between both husband & wife & not by a single spouse. The prostitution is for exchanging sexual pleasure for an amount of money for small period of time, whereas the marriage is a life long relationship where the criteria of money no doubt is important but what is more important is mutual love & respect for each other for a peaceful marital life. No one fells guilty or ashamed or cheep while sleeping with ones wife rather one feels happy, to do so, rather in any circumstances he or she is away for few days for any reasons they miss each other for which only shows their love & care for each other. With a prostitute one will not have such a feeling as he has with his wife. Wife is a person to be loved, cared & respected not used as sex object & thrown as a used condom. I hope now you understand the importance of a wife in a matrimonial home.

Sex is not one sided. Sex is mutual. You are to enjoy the sex
as much as he is, so you should be even on that count.
If he thinks, wham, bam, thank you man, you are not getting
your share, and you need to change that, or find another man.
There are men out there who do figure:
Why buy the cow, when your getting the milk for free.
Yes, If "we" had sex. "We" would still respect each other in the
Morning.
Marriage is a union of Love, sex, trust, respect and sharing,
Including division of "labor", both work, both clean, both pay,
both care for the children.
Living together is a cop out. If neather are of any religious
affiliciation, get married with the J.P. so you can share your
mecical insurance, social security ,etc. Good Luck :-})

Tell that idiot professor if man had not bought the concept such as marriage ... then their would have not been respectable relationships such as 'Wife and childrens' .... and all the womans and kids would today be then prostitues and bastards... what would you like to look to the relationship of parents ... do you think its prostitutions ..... if you are not somebody's wife then all the men in the world would jump upon you and that would be prostitution ....
That professor of your's has lost self-esteem and you agreeing with him it seems even you are loosing it .... spread love not hate .... all the best .....

My friend you are mistaken very badly. In your very narrow mind, the prime objective of tying a wed knot is for sex only. But you have to understand something. Marriage is not for sex. Sex is a secondary thing. If sex is the prime objective, people will go on their own way in their old age. I mean when they will loose their libido. Prostitution is just giving pleasure and taking money. There ends all relation. But in marriage she conceive your child, and taking all pain and load to grow them up, doing all support for her husband, what for? Only for sex. If your professor told you this, definitely he is the son of a prostitute. He cannot think of any other relations on earth

Marriages are built on Love, trust and mutual care. When ur married and ur relationship is based on love u would understand what "marriage" is all about. Ask ur mom and dad about this and see how they feel. Please dont make the mistake again. Will u be kind enough to ask ur prof. if marriage=s prostitution, what are children = with ?. If what ur prof. says is true we would never have been born. people would never take life long responsibilities (i mean children) in return for a few min.s of pleasure. Why do people take so much pains to have children and bring them up.When u think about this deeper u will find ur answer.

It depends on the attitude of the woman, If you married for money and consider sex as service for an exchange then you are a ***** and your marriage is prostitution.
If you know what love really is then your relationship would be about giving not taking.

If you think that marriage is a form of prostitution, I suggest you remain single. I am generous to my wife and family, because I love them and want their lives to be the best I can possibly do for them.
Do you really think that marriage is for sex? I hate to tell you this, but most FUNCTIONAL males are able to make arrangements elsewhere. I stressed the word FUNCTIONAL because obviously you are not.
Either that, or your attitude stinks. Maybe you aren't a loser. Just a misogynist.
It would not be cheap of a woman to sleep with out. Just stupid.
