"There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him" - Mark 7.
JESUS SAID THERE IS "NOTHING" NOT "NO FOOD"
Corinthians 7:7-9
7-For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8-I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.
9-But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn."
He wanted men to be single like him, BUT EVERY MAN HAS HIS GIFT FROM GOD(Bi/straight/gay)
1 Samuel 20:41 - They are "David and Jonathan"
" . . . they kissed one another, and wept one with another . . . "
To make sure you don't miss the sexual aspect, the love is compared (favorably, by the way) with the love of a woman. ---------------------

Leviticus 18:22 says:
“ And with a man you shall not lie with as a man lies with a woman; it is an abomination. ”
The TRUE Hebrew version basically says that a straight man should not lay with a gay man OUT OF LUST!
As for, Leviticus 18:22 states: "Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind: it is abomination."
The term abomination (to'ebah) is a religious term, usually reserved for use against idolatry; it does not mean a moral evil. The verse seems to refer to temple prostitution,
Leviticus 20:13 states: "If a man also lie with mankind as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination..."
THE REAL HEBREW TRANSLATION WOULD BE SOMETHING LIKE THIS:
"...If a man who is straight finds another man who is willing, and out of lust has sex with him, as he would with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination..."

Of course you already know that they will insist their interpretation is right. They want it to be right. It gives them an 'excuse' for their hatred.

Have you actually read Mark 7? Seriously, what is going on here...certain people are condemning Jesus and His disciples for eating with unwashed hands. That Jesus is, indeed, talking about FOOD is quite clear:
Mar 7:18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?
Now what is it that enters into a man's BELLY and comes out through his BOWELS?? If you would simply read this stuff before you go making ridiculous statements like this, you would not be making such a fool of yourself.
Do you understand what Paul is talking about in Corinthians? Paul was chosen to bring the gospel to the gentiles. He was celebate. He thought that it might be good if everyone could also be celebate, but he knew that it was his gift, and didn't apply to everyone. He was speaking of marriage...between a man and a woman. God doesn't declare that something is a sin, and then give them the gift of sinning.
Have you ever heard sins referred to as gifts? For instance, a man might be a gifted liar, or a gifted second story man. I've even heard it said that Charlie Manson "had a gift for it"...speaking, of course, of inspiring others to murder on his command. I'm sure you know that God does not give people the gift of sin. But He did send us the gift of an Advocate...
Ahh, David and Jonathan again. It's rather difficult to imagine how anyone could accuse the lusty David of homosexuality. He liked the ladies far too much...and he seemed to pass his affection for the girls on to his sons as well.
But even if you could prove, beyond any doubt, that David and Jonathan were sexually involved, that doesn't make it OK. Lot's daughters had sex with their father...does that mean incest is OK? There are all sorts of stories of sin in the Bible...including child sacrifice. Does that mean that God smiles on people who murder their kids? Use your brain!
You can twist Leviticus as much as you like...but you can't change the truth. I know you badly want to believe that homosexuality is cool with God. But the fact is that it isn't. That doesn't mean that He doesn't love you, or that you are beyond forgiveness...
If you can accept that you are in error, the Lord can help you out of it. All of us have sinned, there is no way around that. It isn't easy to admit that something you want so badly is a sin, but it can be done. The first step in being healed is to realize that you are sick. As long as you believe you are healthy, why would you need the Great Physician?

Being gay is not a sin.
The word 'abomination' should never be used in association with gay people unless the people throwing this word around avoid everything else in the bible which is termed 'abomination.' Like shrimp. And pork. And the skin of a pig (football is an abomination!) Or wearing cloth woven from two kinds of thread (evil poly/cotton blends!)
Here is what Jesus said about being gay: " "
Why do Xtians take this up as a cause? My being gay does not affect you in the slightest. I have no interest in passing laws keeping you from having your religious views. But you want to do everything in your power to keep me from living my life as I see fit. That strikes me as pretty much the opposite of what Jesus taught.
Are you going to be like Jesus? Or are you going to be like the Pharisees?
Now THAT, my friends, truly IS a choice.

Jesus was using a parallel here to show the effects of sin. It is what comes out of a man ( from his heart and his mouth ) that defile the man. Quote the whole verse not just part of it, and keep it in context.
Paul's statement that he wished all men were as he was
( single and celebite ) was because he believed a man could serve God better if unmarried, but he says if a man cannot contain himself in his desire toward a woman it is better for him to marry than to burn. TO TRY TO MAKE THIS OUT TO BE EVERY MAN'S GIFT FROM A SEXUAL CONTEXT IS A VIOLATION OF PROPER SCRIPTURAL INTERPRETATION OR EXEGESIS! What you are guilty of here is "isogesis" or taking scripture out of context and making it say what you want it to say.
David and Jonathan were great friends, and kissing in this context was not a sensual or sexual kiss but the kiss of a friend that was the custom among Jews in those times. This is the biggest argument homosexuals try to use to justify their sexual acts, but it will never hold up before a Holy God. Once again this is "isogesis" and not exegesis.
The fact that it compares favorably with the love of a woman doesn't mean it is sexual - It is simply to illustrate that deep friendship is a love that is comparable to a heterosexual relationship between a man and a woman.
I would highly recommend that you take a Strong's Concordance and look up all these scriptures in the Hebrew and Greek language and get the proper rendition of them.
If you do that you will find your arguments fading away very quickly, and you will then be doing "exegesis" as you should have before you presented this question.
Someday everyone of us will stand face-to-face with God in all His power, majesty and holiness. All our excuses will be stripped away in His holy gaze, and we will know we were either deceived by Satan or we chose to deceive ourselves if we have rejected what He has to say on any subject including sex! Homosexuality is a sin, and proper interpretation of the Bible will prove nothing else! You will have to decide before you die whether you want to continue to find ways to get around the Bible and what it says or repent and let God deliver you from this lifestyle that is very displeasing to Him.
He loves you and wants to do what is best for you, but He will never force you to believe Him or obey Him. It is always an individual thing, and we set our final destiny by the choices we make in regard to obeying His commandments.

Well the stuff you wrote says flat out that homosexuality is wrong. This is the land of God and God love everybody. God bless America. God loves everybody unconditionally. You are a sinner and there is nothing wrong with that because we are all sinners.

God has allowed you to believe a lie because you worship the creation more than the Creator.
Homosexuality is a sin and a unhealthy life style that leads to a shortened life span of about 20 years. By the way, smoking only cuts about 7 years off someone's life. Choose life.

As far as I know, the Bible is against homosexuality.
In the creation God created Adam and Eve. A man and woman.
Read Soddom and Gomorrah. Those cities are teeming with homosexuals and God punished them. Lot and his family were the only ones saved bacuse they were righteous. God sent down a rain of fire in those places but Lot's wife turned her back (which was forbidden) and she became a pilar of salt. There is scientific evidence to this biblical account, scientist had found cities buried from a volcanic eruption (rain of fire) and found salt sediments. This were belived to be the Soddom and Gomorrah.
No to homosexuality! It's a sin. It'll get you nowhere!

Why don't we let each person find the answer to this question within themselves? If they find it is in keeping with the message of the kingdom and bringing forth life, that is their business and if wrong, the higher intelligence can judge it. I don't find myself to be at a level to discourse upon it nor do I think a homosexual would be too much impressed with my viewpoint.

Stop it already !!!
Living a homosexual lifestyle is sin and an abomination to God , I don't care if you put whipped cream on top.
Sin is sin and unless it is repented of ( meaning to turn from that sin not to do it no more ),will surely lead to eternal damnation.
Nobody can change God's mind on that , not even by saying "pretty please " .
When you fight other people with that , you are wasting your time, because people did not establish the commandments and people do not have a heaven or hell to put you in.
The one you need to fear , is God !!!
