Yet another new foster cat with kittens, Help me name once again?

Question

Well im at my limit for fosters and kittens I am over run with them and its 2007 you'd think there would be less pregnant cats out there. Guess not. My other foster Noodles and her pasta kittens are doing well, and now I got a new female in yesterday morning, her name is Lighting. My nephew named her since she is black with a bolt of white down her face and then it continues to her front leg to her paw. She gave birth last night to 4 kittens. One has a neurological issue but we are going to try to save him too.

1. Boy - Grey Mackrel Tabby, with white belly and feet - Long hair \
2. Girl - Solid Grey, no white. Short hair
3. Girl - Black with white paws, diamond on face, fully white belly,and tip on tail. long hair
4. Boy - (spinal/brain injury) almost full white except gray patch on head between ears almost to top of eyes. short haired.

that brings the total of my house up to 7 dogs, 4 owned cats, 11 foster cats\kittens. 3 Guinea pigs, 1 rabbit, several other small animals, and some other rehab wild life... not to mention my outdoor farm animals sheesh.

As being in the animal welfare biz, I promote spay/nuetering. Also responsible pet ownership and breeding. All of these cats in foster care with me, including the kittens do not go into homes unless they are fully vetted, and fixed. They have to go through a rigourous adoption proceedure before going home with just anyone.

you could use the names i gave my foster kittens when i had them (i miss those little babies)...

Eenie - gray female

Meenie - black female

Miney - gray male

Moe - white male



Or if you want to stick with the Lightning / Nature theme...

Stormy - gray male

Midnight - black female

Sunshine - gray female

Snowball - white male


or you could use names that are more personal, based on their looks / personalities. I have a cat named Pepper because she's a Tortoise-shell and is pepper-colored and my bf has a cat named Lucky because he didn't think she was going to live (i had a cat with the same name because she was a stray we took in...and i liked the irony of a black cat named Lucky:p. I miss my baby:( ). Perhaps you could name the one with neurological issue Lucky.

First one- Mack, short for mackerel
Second-Jean (after Jean Grey from X-Men)
Third-Sparkles, because a diamond sparkles
Fourth- I say be different, and call him Noir, opposite of white, because most people would probably call their black cat Noir. Why not naming your white cat Noir.

I applaud you for helping these animals, I hope you help them all get homes and most importantly get them fixed. As for names I usually pay attention to them for a while and try to pick a really personal name that fits them. Since there is 4 of them you can use the names of the 4 musketeers, I cannot recall them but the names are really cool. I'm sure they would be easy to look up.

Goodness gracious you have your hands full.. how's these names

1. Peanut (little one w/ brain problem)
2. Smokey (one of the grays)
3. Dusty
4. Misty (Good name for a tabby mix I think)

Well done for saving them. I would go by a theme, and since the mother is Lightning, I would call the babies Cloud, Rain, Stormy, Sunshine, etc.

Sound adorable :) the third one I say Choma (Chocolate Marble)... hmm Toby is always a cute name, or Bren, or doing more weather names after the mom :)
