that's actually a really confusing question. I'm guessing it would have to be something genetically close to humans, but I don't think its possible as there isn't anything genetically coded similar to humans as of this time. also, the number of chromosomes must be alike, as every human has 46. The only reason a mule exists is because horses have 64 chromosomes, and donkeys have 62; therefore, mules have 63. If a lion and a tiger can breed to create a new species, why can't humans? I mean, I don't recommend you go out and experiment with this, but you never know. Honestly, I don't believe that's completely ethical or healthy for that matter. >___> but like I said, there has to be an organism that is similar to our cellular and chromosomic structure for that to be possible. other animals have done it though.(see below.)

The group of people that enjoy this practise are called Zoophiles (zoophilia)and the act is called beastiality apparently more common than you may care to think. There have been acutual studies done on it . There is a ton of info about both on the on this thing we call the world wide web. Just google it.

no. animals have a different chromosome count than humans so it isn't possible. same with animals to different animals. for example cats i believe have 36 chromosomes and dogs have 42 i think but there is a big enough gap there so one of them preg. from the other isn't possible. it has to do with family and genies too. like a donkey and a horse can have a baby called a mule but mules are sterile because of their genetic makeup is mutated. hope this helped out. :D

No, there are a certain number of chromosomes in a human sperm or egg cell, I believe it's 21 in each. The difference in numbers of these between animals, humans, other species, etc. prevents the sperm and the egg of two different species from coming together to make a fertilized egg, thus making pregnancy impossible.

Nope. Our DNA is too different. We dont' have the right conditions for them to grow inside of us. Not only that but our sperm and eggs are too different...they'd never connect and grow together.
And if it really were possible, don't you think that we'd have some part human dogs running around or something, or the Religious people would have gone CRAZY about how wrong it was...and new laws would have been made against it...and...wow...yeah...

Impossible, unless either human or animals had gone under mutation. This is a very interesting question. If that happened, what kind of creature will be created?

No.
The reason why is simple - every set of chromsomes has to have a "match" from the other parent.
Humans have 23 sets of chromasomes. No other animal does.

Yes, because technically humans ARE animals, so a human could be empregnated by an "animal".
But let's not get bogged down in symantics with this one... hahaha

Nope...it's already been proven by science that you can't cross species like that.....besides...just think about all the strippers and people doing horses and donkey's and Black Labs. There would be some FREAKY kids walking around.
