I want to lose seventy pounds by August. I'm not a terribly picky eater, and I'm extremely unable to get into the motion of exercising regularly. If there are any ways you can think of that won't harm me, to lose this weight by August please inform me in as much detail as you can manage. Make a pretty, tidy chart if you have to, whatever. I don't care. I would just really like to be forty to seventy pounds lighter by the next school year. Come out with a bang, and leave everyone breathless. If these are personal endeavours that you've successfully gone through, that's even better, because I'll know it works. I would also much appreciate if negative people would just leave this question, because that's not what I need at the moment.
Also, about the exercise part. If it's very minimal, I can probably manage it. And I'll definately go for it if it's an upper-arm based or leg based exercise. My waistline isn't too bad, singing keeps that tucked. My weight, arms, and legs are my worry. Thx!

Well, the exact date is August 20+. 20 would be nice so I have my time to buy new clothes that fit and donate the old ones I don't fit to S.A.

At least being close to this range would be nice, too. I can hope to get rid of the rest in P.E.

I can offer you my testimony to a really healthy way of eating. I lost 10 lbs the first 2 weeks and my fiance lost 26 in the same to weeks. The medical staff that was supervising said it was because he had more wieght to loose. We didn't increase our excercise although it might have increased the weightloss some. This is it: Drink at least 8 full glasses of a any non nutrient beverage daily and only drink non nutrient beverages. That means they should be the equivalent of water, zero all the way down the label. Only eat whole grain (first ingredient has to be WHOLE GRAIN) pastas and breads and only in moderate amounts. Everything that has a label on it (basically anything, but fresh produce and meat) should be 10 Grams or less sugar/serving and 15% or less fat. You can find the percent of fat by dividing the "calories from fat" by the total number of "calories/serving." Your veggie to meat ratio should be 2:1 and your serving of meat should never be bigger then your hand. Eat every 2 hours 6 times a day, 3 healthy snacks & 3 healthy meals. Also no corn, potatoes, or bananas. But popped corn and potatoe chips are okay as long as you choose those that meet the other requirements. You probably will not loose as much weight as you are hoping to that quickly, but I promise that if you do this diet you will lose enough to see a difference. Sometimes people overestimate what they need to loose in order to look the way they would like to.

20-25 pounds maybe with alot of hard work and healthy eating.

If you need to lose 70 pounds its more than just your arms and legs.

That lemonaid diet is for detox not weight loss. You gain it all back as soon as you go off it. Even the guy who invented it will tell you that.

That is not going to happen... I am sorry but that is not humanly possible to lose that much weight in that amount of time. sorry...

And pills only get rid of water weight so you will HAVE to work out to get skinner and HAVE to eat better. It might take a year to do that. (If you are lucky and/or work your but of to change your life style.)

I suggest getting a personal trainer and nutritionist for results like that (if you are lucky) one year time.

And get ready to commit. It seems almost that you really are not so into losing weight if you don't want to exercise. Only exercise will get off weight the right way.

Hope that helps!

cut off a limb. an arm, perhaps?

in all seriousness, your goals are unnattainable. forty to seventy pounds fast and safely is ridiculous. you should have done more planning. start working and you can lose it by next feb.

get over yourself. if you lost that much weight that quickly you would likely die. it takes three times as long to lose weight as it does to pack it on. it is your lack of discipline that got you where you are, so you are going to have to develop some discipline to get rid of the weight, and it will likely take a least a year to lose 70 pounds and keep it off in a healthy fashion. Do it right, talk to your family doctor about a healthy diet plan.

That's not going to work, sweety. Hate to tell you this, but exercise and maintaining a healthy diet is the only safe way. You won't lose this much in only a few months. What you could do is make a plan. Have about 5 servings of fruit and 30 mins of exercise. You can ever do it with a friend. How about bike riding, tennis, maybe some swimming perhaps. Swimming is a good way. I also bought this (sorry I don't know what's it called) hula-hoop that has metal in it. It weighs about 10-15 pounds, I do it 20 mins per day with a little break in between.

Everyone in this is going to say EXCERCISE, EAT HEALTHY, and DISCIPLINE. Honestly, its the only way and even then I doubt you will lose that much weight. How much do you weight even? That goal seems pretty unrealistic.

I would suggest eating 6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism running and burning. And when i mean small meals/snacks, I don't mean chips. Celery and Carrots.

The only way to lose weight is to exercise! You need to be eating 6 small meals per day. each meal needs to be high in vegetables (not potatoes but coloured vegies) you need to cut white bread, and potatoes and rice from your diet to begin with, especially at night time. Eat wholegrain breads and balanced diet including protein at each meal. Foods like tuna in springwater, turkey breast and chicken are great sources of lean protein.
aim to Exercise every day for 1 hour. start off with walking (mornings before breakfast is best to burn body fat) 30-45 minutes minimum. gradually increase the distance, time and intensity of your walks(e.g add in some hills or walk a bit harder and faster) after about 6 weeks of walking everyday you could start adding some short bursts of jogging for a minute at atime with a minute walking in between. This is a great way to use extra energy.
Some resistance training would be fantastic, because you need to build muscle to burn more energy and prevent you from re-gaining all your fat loss. Focus on getting smaller not getting lighter. if you can't get into a gym you can do some exercises at home that would be perfect for your needs. you can contact me if you would like more advice on exercises.
The most important thing is to wake up every morning and tell your self that you are losing weight, every night before going to sleep remind yourself how lean you are getting. Avoid the scales!!! use the power of your mind to control your body, after all that is how you got big in the firstplace!!
Good luck, I hope you find the answers you are looking for!

There is NO way you can lose that much weight without having surgery to remove it all at once.

Unlesss this is August 2008, in which case - doable.
