Depends at what range. Up to 900 yards then the .308 Win, to 1200 yards then the .300 Win Mag, to 1600 yards the mighty .338 Lapua, and 2000+ yards then ether the .408 CheyTac or .Barret .416

Well, I've heard the sharps M1874 with the 45-120 cartridge is auccurate to 1000 yards and still lethal to buffalo at that range, but that would probably take lot's of practice. As for anything invented after the 19th century, I have no idea!

The Barret M-82A1 special application scoped rifle. Able to reach out and touch a man sized target at 7,450 yards. Check out the Marines Corp training video on youtube about it. Very impressive rifle.

Are you talking about a 22lr? if so check out the mossberg us44 target rifle. I am assuming since all negatives were put up that you dont think any of the rifles on here are that accurate? lol try a barrett unless you are talking about a 22 then you have to make it clear.

there are many, depending on the shooter/experience. most rifles can outshoot the average shooter, if that makes sense. in other words, most people arent experienced enough to fully portray their guns shooting capabilities. most of the sniper rifles use a remington action though (bolt) and they are all hand made, proving better accuracy than mass produced rifles where one rifle off the line may shoot better/different than the next off the line.

There is no easy answer but if I had to guess;

Chey-Tac m200 Intervention rifle chambered for .408 Chey-Tac.

I think it holds the world record for accuracy at 1000m
