NH Baritone:
Other elements notwithstanding, the theory goes "It rained on the rocks for millions of years and turned them into soup" The soup, then, is thought to have been the "stuff" that came alive regardless of what other elements are involved in the theory's process.

The bottom line is it's just plain absurd regardless of how you frame the equasion.

Amino acids, not rocks. Everything before life was not "rocks." Gases, Liquids, & Solids existed. And some of these, with the proper amount of energy infusion, could create amino acids.

My Chemistry Set was not filled with "rocks," and so I was able to conduct lots of "experiments." Early earth was on great big Chemistry Set.

Again, this is not a form of evolution.

This is abiogenesis. Abiogenesis is not 'spontaneous'. It takes rather a large search time and search space before the statistics become meaningful. Nor does abiogenesis say rocks are involved.

No, I don't believe it; I know it. All the available evidence points to abiogenesis.
