Okay, I just turned 13. I really want to meet some guys to hang out with. I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend either too. I hang out with my girl friends all the time and sometimes it gets boring. You always need a couple of guy friends to hang out with too! I'm not shy or anything it's just I never really find a place to meet them and I would feel awkward going up to talk to them. Aren't they supposed to come up to you? If you could please give me some tips on just how to meet some guys and where to meet them and what to say to them and if I see their looking at me, do I wink or smile or what? Please help. Thanks!

Usually, you meet guys from your school, or they may be brothers or cousins of your girlfriends. I really don't know how to tell you 'how' to meet them because it usually just happens. Do you attend games at school? Do the teens in your area have parties? You might consider having a summer get together and invite some kids from your school. I would not encourage you to be that forward - but smile and engage in conversation and just be yourself. Usually, boys will come up to you, but you have to consider that at age 13, they might be just as shy as some girls, though many of the kids I have seen in my school don't appear shy at all. They mix it up in class, they take dance and music classes together, and they usually just hang out with each other. Many of the girls would not have friends if not for the boys who really support the girls in our school. Get involved in some outside activities (Boys and Girls Club) where you can meet the guys.

When school starts back up, you could try to be more outgoing so you're noticed easier around guys. Also, there might be hangouts around where you live like... music shows or something that you could meet them at, with common interests as you. There are certain nights for teens at alot of these music places. When the fair comes around, be sure to go. If you know of any of your girl friends that know guys and hang out with them, hang out with them when they're around the guys. Then start hanging out with the guys and they will probably introduce you to some of their friends. You're sure to find somebody somewhere.

Boys aren't meant to just amuse you. You get a boyfriend/girlfriend for the same reasons you marry someone. Just a little less extreme.
If you really want help. Wink or smile at a boy. He will come to you.

I'm 29 - stay away from the boys for a while! Having friends is ok, but at some point one of them is going to want to make some moves - it's human nature and hormones are all over the place. Be patient!

well i'm 13 and i've had a bunch of boyfriends and a whole lot has been askin me out and stuff umm you could go to a mall or skating i go skating and i have alot of guy friends there and they all like me and they make me fill really good about my self and if they look at you just smile hope it helps good luck :)

a smile is a good way to see if they are loking at u cus if u wave and they wernt looking at u . u might look weird but just talk to guys at schoo land get a group go to the movies then get something to eat that is what we did.

Your entering high school next year, right? Then you'll meet a lot of guys then. My first year of high school I became best friends with two guys and they still are my best friends.

your too young. i've never had a boyfriend and i'm almost 16
but if you want one that's just a friend either get one that is all jock or one that is totally gay but never get a only smarts one because they are boring

wat i do is me and my sis together go 2 the movies hangout and there be probley sum guys checking u out r u can go wit a group of ur gurl pals and hangout wit them nd if u see sum body u like maybe they can say wass up 4 u or u can go together 2 say wass up
