Whatever happened to the book of Judas?
Why was Judas the "Bad Guy" when he was the closest to Jesus and did as he was told?
and Why did the 12 diciples stone him for being the closest to Jesus? (oh and yes, it has been proven it wasnt suicide, he was stoned by his fellow diciples)

Copied- " Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John make up the four accepted Gospels of the Christian New Testament. Now a new gospel has been unveiled by the National Geographic Society -- one that focuses on the story of Judas Iscariot.
To most Christians, Judas is seen as a traitor, the disciple who betrayed Jesus to the Romans for 30 pieces of silver. But a newly restored papyrus document dating to the 2nd century AD portrays a very different man. Judas is shown as Jesus' best friend, asked by Jesus himself to betray his identity to fulfill the prophecy and liberate his soul to ascend to heaven". (Read more on url below) This is what many people have come to believe, myself included. Judas was chosen, or predestined, for this task. As it says in the scripture listed below-Jesus knew he was going to do it and whispered to him to go and do it quickly. Matthew has a little different reading but Jesus said "All this was done that the scriptures might be fulfilled" Matt. 26:50-56. Peter denied Christ three times, but was made a saint by the Catholic Church. I have not read anything about Judas being stoned by the disciples. Where did you get that information? I find it hard to believe. That would be premeditated murder which Christ taught against. Neither do I believe that anyone whose mind becomes so 'unhinged' that they commit suicide will have everlasting punishment! But I am not the judge. There's lots of controversy on lots of subjects including Judas- interesting to study about it all if a person is so inclined.

Don't know what you've been listening to or where you're reading this propaganda, but it was suicide and there was no book of Judas written by Judas. It's only an attempt by people like the Jesus Tomb people to stir up crap. It's bogus. He wasn't closest to Jesus either, John was. John is called the "beloved disciple."

Ok first the book of Judas was a gnostic book written a few centuries after the cannonical gospels. There is no information about te other disciples stoning Judas. Go check your references and get your information from one source especiallywhen you make these statements as if none of your information has not been researched by anyone and you are an authority.

Judas betrayed Jesus, He denied him in the end. Like the friend till almost the end then turns tail. If you have real proof and truly believe that Judas was stoned then I genuinely would like to know were you got your information from. Mine is straight from the bible. But truly please tell me where you saw that he was stoned by the other disciples.??

Judas sold Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. But you need to state the source of your information, instead of saying, oh and yes it has been proven.

Well, you will have to reveal your source that he was stoned. He was the bad guy in the Bible because he had gain in his heart and ego and mind as his friend. Did you find a source of truth that hasn't been presented at large? The hidden life of the Bible seems to be in the teachings of loving your neighbor as yourself and seeking truth that will set you free. The historical was just that - historical. You know, like Lincoln getting shot. Should we all look over our shoulder when we go to a theater or should we wonder what went on in the mind of Booth?

One Person Wreckin Crew 2nite My Dear?

To start off with, Mary was the closest...but we dare not speak of it! Goodness No, as for the whole deal about how Judas died, i don't really know.
But do be ready to give references when making such profound statements, lol, especially to the christians!
They tend to get kinda pissy when you start to switch it up or if they think you are trying to confuse them with their own words.

Matthew 27:3-8 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
Acts 1:18-19 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

Proved by whom? He hung himself in a field. He abandoned Christ and was ashamed of his own decision to turn Christ over to the Sanhedrin.

The book of Judas? Not in the Bible. I think it probably lies in the earth with Judas.
