If you could not pray to Jehovah, how would you feel?

It amazes me how people who don't believe in Jehovah are so consumed with Jehovah's People, obviously there is some interest if you are answering this question and you do not believe in Jehovah, we do offer free home bible studies. But if you prefer to be a coward then I guess Yahoo is for you to learn about Jehovah and Jehovah's People!!!!

Statement to Carol....first of all the question you are referring was actually a statement meant for ones who have taken it upon themselves to answer a question not related to them or their beliefs..if you do not believe in Jehovah God or what his people stand for...why would a person be intrigued by this question? Are you a Coward? Then the statement was meant for who it was meant for and if I stepped on shoes..oh well. And for Lemme Princess..you are a bitter Apostate who have hang ups and want to slander Jehovah's name...your day is doomed for destruction and you know this whether you accept it or not. Anybody else who chooses to anwer this question knowing good and well I am speaking and referring to Jehovah's Wittnesses only...then you are a Coward!!!

I would feel empty inside, but without Jehovah we can't speak or think!!!! I guess I would feel like I felt a year ago before I new Jehovah God, because without him there is no me no smile, just a empty shell inside-- that's what Satan wants us to leave the comfort on Jehovah arms.

Being a vegetable is the only reason we could NOT pray. So, I wouldn't "feel" anything for anything or anyone as I would be in a coma.

No one needs permission to pray. I can be praying while I type this and no one would know.

Since your question is "for Jehovah's people" only, and the fact that Jehovah is the english translation of YHWH, then I am "God's people" However, I am not a JW. So, I feel comfortable answering this question even though I do not subscribe to the WBTS, the governing body, the "society" etc.

Pray is communication with God. I communicate with him daily, somethings hourly. Nothing can seperate me from my God or severe my relationship.

the questioner states:

" But if you prefer to be a coward then I guess Yahoo is for you to learn about Jehovah and Jehovah's People!!!!"

How small-minded, bigoted, and cowardly of you to make this statement. This is an open forum. There are more varing opinions here, more right opinions here and more open-minded people here than you will ever find with "Jehovah's People". Just because what I believe doesn't subscribe to the WBTS, doesn't make me a coward and it certainly doesn't make me WRONG!
We all know where we can go to learn what JW's teach about themselves, but here, you will find more than just their publicity statements, but actual facts as experienced by former JW's,even former Bethelites. Just because we show more than just the WBTS's white washed version of their history or actual practices today, doesn't make us cowards and it doesn't make us WRONG.

If I could not pray to Jehovah I would have to say I would feel very empty, alone, hopeless, and depressed because it's only because of his power that I am able to endure.(Philippians 4:13, Isaiah 40:29)

The anxieties of this world would definitely over power me if I didn't have him to throw my burdens upon. (Psalms 55:22)

Prayer definitely helps me to deal with so many of the "delightful" people I meet in the ministry. (Acts 4:23-31)

Thankfully, nothing and no other person can separate us from Jehovah's love. It is just up to us to make sure we keep that line of communication open.

It is true that Jehovah's Witnesses are not loved by everyone.
http://jw-media.org/newsroom/human_rights.htm
Some people hate Jehovah's Witnesses out of ignorance, or over some misunderstanding. A few may have had a bad personal experience with an individual who claimed to be a Jehovah's Witness, and prejudicially extended their animus to this entire Christian religion.

However, it seems that the majority of anti-Witness hatred is motivated by religious intolerance and bigotry. A few may even be motivated against their Christian worship by the unseen 'god of this system of things', Satan the Devil.

(2 Corinthians 4:4) the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers

Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.

if I could not pray to my best friend Jehovah, I would be very sad and upset. if is something how people who know nothing about Jehovah will say nasty things about him. they don't even want to learn about Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. it is something for people who turned there back on our Father Jehovah and now say nasty things about him. I feel sorry for them.

the same as Jesus could feel that he couldn´t pray to his Father chapter 17 of John can you imagine Jesus couldn´t pray to his father.

8inches read Psalms 14:1 "The senseless one has said in his heart:
“There is no Jehovah.”
They have acted ruinously, they have acted detestably in [their] dealing.
There is no one doing good.

do you mean JWs, or Christians? if the latter, I'd feel like an atheist. assuming "can" referred to phycial limitations and not permission. who cares about permission when it comes to prayer? if it is the former, can't help you there
