you're right. the 'same exact evidence' can either explain a universe where there is a God, or one where there is not.
this looks like a job for Occam's Razor....

They have different conclusions from the exact same evidence, because they interpret the evidence differently. Some put faith in one theory, others in another theory. And more importantly, all sides of the debate (atheists included) put faith in those theories based in assumptions they have made from the evidence. Athiests assume that a God can't exist. Many religions and thier followers assume that God can and does exist. Agnostics hold the less assumptive position in the debate.
Atheism by definition isn't pitted directly against religion, but against the existance of God. The question of is there a God or not, should be taken seperately from the question of, if God exists which religious view of God is correct, as one is not dependant on the other. Because even if every religious view of God were incorrect, the question, "is there a God?" would remain.

It is simple believe what ever you want this is your right....the natural man can not percieve the things of God nor is it in him to seek him. So it is sad but you are your own staggering conclusion.....and we know why...unbelief. Apparently you do not know what a Christian is all about,are what we know. We live by faith and not by sight. Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things unseen.. Read Hebrews 11 chapter. It speaks for itself.....paise him...praise him...praise him....he is worthy to be praise. From the raising of the sun to the going down of the same...Jesus is worthy to be praised.

Man created religion but if God exists then I don't think man was the Creator. The various religions are for the most part OK until they try to force their ways on others or try to degrade the quality of life.

Okay does not really seem to me that way, but okay whatever you want to think.
However, the term "man created God' does not mean God does not exist, I could say a man named Louis Smith lives in the world, I made up that name, does that means that there is not a Louis Smith somewhere in the world... no.

Because people are different, and they look at things differently. That works for just about anything else. For example: Ten people see a car accident and are asked what they saw. You will get 10 different versions of the same accident.

Atheist want facts--reason--logic--resulting in Science
Christians want Faith--which brings a logic to the Bible.
God does not look to be proved--God wants worshipers
two philosophies--with two differing views and foundations

Would you rather be happy or right?
happy = religion
right = atheism
Of course, religious people can be right and atheists can be happy, but the answer to this question can usually be answered by someone's religion. Religious people are drawn to religion because they'd rather be happy than right. Atheists are pushed away from religion because they feel a lack of evidence.
