Since being a 'psychic' is a business and people are free to use any business they like, wouldn't I be giving them better service by pretending to be psychic rather than the people who act like they actually are?
Think about it this way - a rube goes to see a psychic.
Rube - I have an ugly mole on my breast, what should I do?
'Psychic' - You aren't getting enough herbs. Luckily I sell some right here.
Now here's what I would do:
Rube - I have an ugly mole on my breast, what should I do?
Me - Well, the spirits are telling me that your Chi is out of wack. Drink this herbal tea, which I sell, but also go see a professional doctor...the spirits feel that there is a certain doctor out there in your future who is your true psychic healer.
See? I'd scam them into buying the tea, but in the end they'd go to the doctor and wouldn't die of cancer.
Same can't be said for the 'real' psychic.

Sounds good to me, also you can get some extra-cash by selling some antique cash registers.

You are right about "psychics" having no "power". It is an illusion. I once went to a seminar where a man could tell you everything about your life if you gave him your name and birth date--he was a reporter who goes around the world disproving "psychics". He disproved Kenny Kingston on Donohue. He pretended to be someone else on the show Kenny read the character not the reporters true personage.

This reporter also has documented facts of some psychic or unexplained phenomena. He sites Psalm 18:22 written by King David. He says David prothesized Jesus' coming 1000 yrs before Jesus' birth. He says he interviewed the team that carbon dated the original Hebrew texts and the date was confirmed at around 1000BC.
