It has a flaky, orange-colored center somewhat similar in texture and taste to peanut brittle (without the peanuts), that is coated in compound chocolate. The filling has a peanut butter taste, hence the name. When eaten, it tends to crumble and then take on a peanut buttery consistency.

Hope this helps! =)

I don't have a wrapper to actually list the ingredients but I can tell you that generally that kind of candy has tons of sugar, butter, possibly corn syrup, brown sugar, I'm sure it has some peanut butter to add flavoring and probably preservatives and food coloring. Then this mixture is brought to a certain heat in order to get the candy to form to the right hardness. There are several different levels of heat. Each one will give you a different kind of candy, ex) laffy taffy (kinda gooey sugar) or a sucker (really hard sugar) Then its laid out and cut into bars and coated with a couple coats of yummy milk chocolate.

Butterfinger is the candy aisle equivalent of heroin: its filling is sugar and peanut butter blended together in its most concentrated form, without any nougat to provide a protective layer of blandness.

Freshly roasted peanuts are chopped, and made into a creamy peanut butter that is blended with a sugar candy. This unique substance is kneaded, rolled, cut and covered in a chocolatey coating. http://www.nestleusa.com/PubOurBrands/BrandDetails.aspx?lbid=320E521D-E057-4B69-9FA2-B28E648DE861

The ingredients are on the wrapper. Sugar is a large part of it and I could not say it is good for you even though I do like it.
