All religions begin in the mind. If it doesn't at first appeal to your mind then it can't possibly reach your heart. The heart loves what the mind tells it to. It's even biblical believe it or not.If the mind likes what it hears, then you've got its attention and now it has a new interest. It's like any relationship, attraction first, then love.

It depends. In my case, I tried to diprove the Bible and found that it is historically reliable and has been proven by archaology and science and that prophecy has been fulfilled. Then as I read further, I was condemned in my heart by it's words and accepted forgiveness in Jesus Christ.

There's nothing intellectual about it. It's the giving over of the mind to a belief that Sky Daddy is gonna take care of everything for you so you no longer have to be responsible for your own actions. Oh, and that if you defy Sky Daddy you'll go to hell and burn forever.

It begins with your heart. That is where you can feel God tugging at it. This isn't a literal tugging, and it isn't the heart that is in your chest.
When you accept Christ and spend time in His Word, it eventually becomes head knowledge. But it is important to place the Word of God in your heart as well.

i think the mind 1st . u have to hear bout the Lord before believing in him. then after hearing it would be the heart. thats just my thought of it.
