If Sr was still around none of this would have happened. JR would still be racing (and not losing) for petes sake he might still be racing.
but this is the big thing DEI
stands for Dale Earnhardt inc
not TEI
but it is going to be funny B/C 24 & 8 fans hate each others guts and now they are going to be teammates i could get interesting.
Overal you cant call it DEI with out a dale now martin T JR and Theresa are going to run the show

I don't agree with her decisions but who knows maybe she can salvage what's left and maybe just maybe keep the organization going. There is nothing to indicate promise yet since Dale Jr and Tony Eury Sr. announced they are leaving. If Eury Jr leaves too then the only thing they have left is the engine builders. I believe one of their engine builders use to be an engine builder for Hendricks. So if they are all out the door then She will be starting from scratch pretty much. She will still have Truex but I believe if everything falls apart there at DEI then Dale Jr will bring Truex over to JR Motorsports before long.
Maybe she can pull it off but it sure looks like she made a mistake.
It just seems like everything is coming together for Dale and falling apart for Theresa
Oh yea the reason I keep throwing JR Motorsports in there is because I believe they will announce in the near future that they will be running Cup teams. That's my opinion. We'll see.

I agree with you. Paul Menard's dad tried to offer Theresa a deal to buy DEI. Stupid biotch didn't take the deal. Paul is only worth $5.2 Billion dollars (dad owns the 3rd largest home improvement store in the nation).

She ran that team before Sr. died and I don't think he would be in the least disappointed in her. He of all people knew just how much of a brat his son is. He wouldn't have put up with him either.

Dumbest or not?? I don't know but as far as Sr. thoughts....
I saw an interview with Darrel Waltrip some time back, maybe 2 years ago, he said he asked Sr. why he wanted to start a team and deal with all the crap that came with that and Sr. grabbed him by the back of the neck, which he was known to do if he liked you, and said Well Darrel we've got to leave these kids something.
What do you think???

Once again, the company was hers to do with what she wanted. Junior leaving was not her decision. He made it himslef. It was his ego and selfishness that led to this. It was not his company to demand the majority share, she did not give it to him, and like a baby, he threw a tantrum and went running off to find him a new team.

Funny how people here only want to stand by Jr.'s side of the story. For one thing, I don't know about where you come from but here usually when one spouse dies the other spouse usually inherits any property not the kids. Face it , Jr. is a spoiled brat.He didn't get what he wanted and had a hissy. For the last couple years all you ever heard was how great and fast Jr.'s car was. But ever since the talk about him leaving DEI everyone started saying the equipment was bad. I guess the equipment went bad overnight.Next year, it will be that Hendrick gives him junk while everyone else gets the good cars. When is it going to dawn on you people that Sr.a' only talent was running into other drivers to win and Jr. is a talentless hack.

If Dale Sr were still alive, Teresa wouldn't be in control over DEI, thus she wouldn't have made that particular stupid decision (please note the spelling for future reference). And she's very close to being the dumbest person on the planet.

Pride often causes otherwise normal people to make horrible decisions. I am not a huge NASCAR guy, but this has to be one of the dumbest sports related moves for the ages. Sadly, this is the result of people, like Sr, who fail to realize that they are mortal and don't have good estate planning.
