May I suggest you try eating a healthy diet that avoids processed foods? I have lost 94 pounds by eating only fresh fruits , veggies, lean meats and completely giving up foods with sugar added. I found out once I gave up sugar I no longer craved foods and I finally felt satisfied. I still consume low fat dairy products but I am gluten intolerant so no wheat for me. In the very least give up drinking carbonated drinks of any sort and you will start to feel better.

Losing weight quickly isn't really a healthy way to lose. You should aim for between 4 and 8 pounds a month. If you lose too quickly it will just come right back. Try giving up one food you know is bad for you at a time and you will be more successful.

I find eating small amounts of food throughout the day keeps my blood sugar level . Caffeine is bad for your blood sugar levels, it causes spikes and cravings.

Eating healthier is a life goal, not a diet. If you just change your diet to eating healthier you will lose weight. Add in exercise and you will be on the road to a new and better life.
GOOD LUCK! You can do it!

one pound is equal to 3500 calories.

at 5 foot 11 inches and 280 pounds, your body is going to burn, just to maintain every day bodily functions (i.e. Breathing, thinking, heart beats, muscle movements) about 2000 calories. to lose 2 pounds a week, you will need to burn an excess of 7000 calories MORE than you eat.

so lets calculate: without eating anything, nor doing extra exercise, your body will burn more than 14000 a week. That means without extra exercise you could eat 1000 calories a day. I recommend that you follow a diet of 1250 calories a day and make a light exercise routine that burns about 250 or more calories. You can do this by walking briskly for 20 to 30 minutes uphill, putting on some music and dancing for 20 to 30 minutes, plus activities like housework burns calories.

also make sure you drink a lot of water. I recommend at least 100 ounces a day...or 4 24 ounce sports bottles of water. This helps in flushing fat from your body.

Dont eat 3 hours before bed. if you plan to go to bed at 11pm, 8pm is your cutoff. If you get hungry, drink a COLD glass of water or diet green tea.

I hope this helps. Good Luck.

3600 calories is one pound. So if you cut back 3600/7 = 500 calories a day you will lose one pound a week. In reality the way weight loss occurs is you change your eating and exersizing pattern dramatically. You will lose 2-3 pounds a week in the beginning and after a few months you will be down to 1 lb a week, then more and more slowely as you achieve your ideal weight. Don't focus on 100lb. You will feel dramatically better after 20lb. Go for it! Fruit for breakfast, salad and small snack for lunch. Meet, bread and vegetable for dinner and fruit snack at night. One fattening snack per week. Walk every day for 20min and increase. Be carefull of the heat.

This is what you do, I did it and lost 15 lbs in 2 weeks, and it stays off.

breakfeast- eat a serving of any healthy whole grain cereal (ex: kashi, nature valley, etc) with skim milk. with 1 medium sized banana

lunch- a grilled cheese sandwhich on whole wheat bread with tomatoe in the middle. a serving of any fruit, pretzels, and low-fat yogurt* or you could have a pb&j* or a pepper sandwhich* or toast with pb

dinner- chicken breast, or any type of lean fish with some veggies and white rice. or veggie stir fry.

dessert- you can have 1 serving of low-fat frozen yogurt

**its best to not snack in between. but if you must, try a handful of nuts, or whole wheat peanut butter crackers. you should eat your meals 4 hours apart, or because cereal isnt super filling, you can eat your lunch 3 1/2 hours after breakfeast. its super important to eat 3 meals a day, if you dont it slows your metabolsim, and are more likely to binge.

at night you should try to have a cup of hot tea, it cleans out your system from the day and will make you feel great in time.

*** make sure to get 1 1/2 hours of any kind of cardio a day. (What I do is I get up in the morning, eat, wait an hour, go running for 15 minutes, then do 15 more minutes of cardio. then an hour after I eat lunch I ride my bike for 10 mins then do 20 more mins of cardio. then before I go to bed I do 2o mins of stretches.

***please do this I really wanna help you, and if you do this I gurantee you'll lose weight. remeber it wont happen over night, and if you feel like your going to binge, drink a cup of water and wait 15 minutes.
