When we have so many God-loving/fearing people around, why the world isn't getting any better?

There are two primary reasons for this. The first is that for most people who call themselves christians, it is only lip service. They claim the name, but they don't apply all of the principles. They are worse than those who do not profess any type of religion.

The second reason is that the Bible tells us that the conditions of the world will continue to get worse until Jesus returns. Bible prophecy will be completely fulfilled.

If one were to total together all of the Christian organizations around the globe working to make things better, you would rapidly realize that billions of dollars are spent on this endeavor every year. The real problem is that the poverty and hunger never really goes away. We never run out of homeless people, mentally ill people, hungry people, etc. who need help.

Believe it or not, Christian organizations do a lot, and they do it every day the whole world over. Maybe a better question would have been: What can I do to make the world a better place? If each of us asked that then maybe real change would be more likely.

I'm assuming (assuming, huh) that some are just hypocrites, and that leads to even worst disasters.
