no, although I don't think he was totally interpreted correctly.
With all the moving for generations, lost in the woods, and finding a new home, only to be relocated at his whim and direction.
It must have been a trying time for this group, as all the Greek philosophers predate this to B.C., with civilizations, cities, studies, theories, and knowledge.
Read the entire Bible and take from it the things meant for you. Measuring the cubits, etc,and the miracles, and the banding of the men into groups willing to give their lives, reminds me of the gang activities, and the lengths they will go to, including relocating, to gain acceptance.
I do like some of the Bible, and believe many experienced this phenomenon which ended in this person's execution, and promise of a Resurrection.
I believe in the hereafter, and don't want a resurrection, unless they delete all suffering. Living with blame and resentment is definitely bi=polar. Sounds like you've paid attention to the Bible, too.

religious people say.... "God created man in the image of Himself"
I say..... "Man created God in the image of themselves"
All that "it's a mircacle" talk and "it was God's choice", or "God works in mysterious ways". Is just talk.
What kind of God would let the Holocaust happen?
I believe in a God, but what makes us think we should know his purpose?
thousands of religions out there, who's right?
people believed there was a God for corn, rain, the sun, the moon, etc. Now we laugh at them for what science has proven.
Will our generation be laughed at next?

How do you know what God is like? He has never spoken to anyone on earth and never put in an appearance here. You are getting mixed up with the views of men who wrote the Bible and other associated material.

I'm gonna say God is emotionally disturbed in a big way. Dangerously unstable, actually. But not retarded.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I will pray for you. In reference to your question: ABSOLUTELY NOT. The Lord is merciful, compassionate, forgiving, insightful, and above all our Creator and Savior.
The Bible is the word of the Lord and inspired by Him. He lets the sun set on the good and bad, sends the rains upon the good and bad, etc... He is no respecter of persons. He incites these actions without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, age, etc... because He wishes to demonstrates His Justice and impartiality. For He died for one and all.
Moreover, He does not cause bad things to happen but allows them to fulfill his purpose, instill discipline, and redirect us. I know I can't convince you, so I shall pray the Lord send a person or a circumstance into your life which will reveal His existence and above all His love for you.
God bless.

The whole idea of a single deity, just all of a sudden deciding to create a universe larger that the human mind can capture is hard to believe. Sometime controls the universe, but its not god, its something humans can never understand.
