It certainly appears as they do. The bible says this about the times we are living in...

(Matthew 24:37-39) “37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”

Notice, that it says they were busy doing normal everyday things, and took no note until the flood came! Sure sounds like people today, so busy with material pursuits, and getting ahead in the world, that they are failing to notice what time we are living in. Most of them put spiritual pursuits on the back-burner, if they consider them at all, and they are missing the warning that is being given!

Paul was inspired to write about these days that we are living in also...he hit it right on target, too!

(2 Timothy 3:1-5) “3 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.”

Seems like we are sure living in the time of the end of this system of things!

Of course. At Matt. 24:36-39, Jesus said: "Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be."

Noah was also “a preacher of righteousness,” but his contemporaries “took no note” of his God-given message. They ate and drank, got married, raised families, and carried on the normal affairs of life until the Flood swept them all away. (2 Peter 2:5; Genesis 6:14) They did not want to hear about upright speech and conduct, even as today’s wicked generation closes its ears to what Jehovah’s Witnesses say about repentance toward God, faith in Christ, righteousness, and the judgment to come.

I believe it will get worse. But you sure can see the unbelief and mockery. When does the sin rise to a level to where God says enough? I don't know. So does the time of Noah refer to the few who believed or to the level of disbelief? I've always wondered that. I do think that Jesus made a way for a great many to be saved so that kind of answers my own question.

Yes some of my answers even point this out... Luckily I think they have more than a hundred years (ooh barely any of us live past hundred any more... I know but we are such a big believers in not repeating History - it's hard not to repeat History when you discount half of it.) to prepare but also we (Christians) have had more than a hundred years to prove we aren't God we aren't perfect and put off a lot of people...

At least Noah was just obedient and kept on building that ark (trudging along with the task at hand...)

Just WHEN was the "time of Noah"? Then the question becomes, "How accurate and independent were the surveys of local attitudes during "the time of Noah"... Further, are those attitudes fairly reported (that is without bias...)?

In my opinion, it is much worse now than it was in Noah's time, and it's going to get much worse. I believe Jesus's intercessions for mankind, and the prayers of the believers is the only thing holding God's judgement back, but His mercy won't last forever.

No. Back then, a cold was the work of the devil. Think about it.

Things are much different now. Education, understanding, acceptance, and tolerance are now considered very important things. The exact opposite of what would have happened 2000 years ago. Thats ASSUMING he ever existed.

Of course they do. There is no such thing as evolution, so people cannot have evolved to different attitudes.
