My kitchen is bright red. Click here to see what my living room looks like: http://good-times.webshots.com/album/559652974aHgnwe . The 4th and 5th pictures are photos that I really LIKE and they are the look that I'm going for.

What color should I go with for my living room? And what about the small half bath? I don't like blues, and I LOVE neutrals. BTW I hate the paintings in our living room so try to look past those.

The only thing is, is that everything in my living room is brown already (curtains, couch, chair, furniture)... so I'm afraid if I paint the walls light brown that everything will clash. I love neutrals, reds, oranges, cream, etc. Anything warm. Let me know your ideas - thank you very much!

Go to Lowe's and check these two colors out. Seagull Beach or Warm Fog by American Tradition card number 1002-10 or Hemp Rope by Signature Colors card number MS127 for your living room.
I would go with something light in the bath.

I think a nice, warm yellow would suit nicely. It will allow the furniture to stand out against it and also work with the red in the kitchen. You could easily and quite effectively add some touches of orange and creams with pillows and throws. I know you don't like the paintings, but the yellow will work with those until you can buy new ones. As for the bathroom, being a small space I would do a cream to light beige color and add splashes of the yellow and red with towels.

I think the color that will brighten your living room, and tie things together, is a warm ivory or off-white. It will complement the black, red, and golds.
Paint the bath ivory, and add red and gold accessories - towels, rug, vase on back of toilet, pix with red, etc.

I think a very very light creamy orangish yellow would look great in the living room. I don't know the exact name, but I painted my living room, which looked similar to yours Behr Desert Sand.

I don't get it. I am in love with the camel, chocolate brown and red. What's wrong with those colors?? Camel or Chocolate would be perfect with furniture and a nice accent to your beautiful red!

go with the oranges and creams, and loose any paintings you hate and buy new art (art gallery receptions are such fun anyway and they usually have goodies and white wine)
orange of somekind in the living room and cream in the bath
