I am sorry to tell you this but there is no way of getting rid or preventing stretch marks. They have creams for them but they do not work but just smooth them out.I have six children(but I do not look like it), I exercise every other day since I am in great shape and I didn't receive stretch marks until I had my last child(which were twins).I tried the creams when I saw the first mark,I did this everyday. But like my anatomy professor said, you can not prevent this from happening because the skin has to stretch inorder to make room,This happens to mean as well.Whether they are gaining weight or building muslces.I know a friend and her mother got a tattoo over the stretch mark.I am not going to do it.I have no problem with mine, they are there and they will stay there.Men know that's what women go through and so you shouldn't be embarrassed.I saw on the news where a lady said she got a tattto over her stretch marks to cover up the memories of her dead son whom died in a car accident with his friend and mother after a football practice. She has a rose and something else on it.

Recent stretch marks? Palmer's Coco Butter
Happened, recently noticeable?- La Mer body cream.
They will not go away overnight. They come from rapid weight gain or lost. So what you are doing is adding back lipids and repairing the "scaring" from it. it will take time but moisturizing will help. If your losing or gaining weight you need to pay attention. Moisturize more. Those who say you can't get rid of them are indeed wrong. You have to be consistent with care. The only time you would have a problem is not moisturizing while pregnant to keep the skin supple. Waiting too long like 2 or 3 years.

Apply olive oil or badam oil or Castor oil continuously on those areas and allow it react 1 hour daily. wash it with warm water. There are some anti stretch mark creams available now. You can try them also.

Cocoa butter is supposed to be the best remedy for them. But I think surgery is the only way to completely get rid of them.

you cannot really get rid of them. prevention is the key. a couple of my girlsfrieds said that the AVON stretch mark cream product (not sure of product name) worked the best out of all the products that supposedly get rid of them, good luck

You can definately minimize stretch marks. What worked for me is Palmers cocoa butter formula (massage lotion for stretch marks). My kid is 4 and the marks are almost unnoticeble!
