It depends upon the setting.
In my Psychological Hospital, I would much rather have a Man at my side when a Pt. is being psychotic than a Woman. The Physical presents of a female Nurse will at times make the Pt. act out even worse, but with a male Nurse, it is more likely we can deescalate the situation.

I'm a male nurse, as long as you do your job it doesn't matter. Maybe men seem to be better b/c during the schooling the instructors treat them like sh^t. The only positive experience I ever had during that time was getting pinned.

I think it's the person that matters, not the gender. Some PEOPLE are better at it than others, that's all.

i'm a male nurse and my patients love me. mostly.... but yeah its down to personality and how much effort they put into their job and what attitude they bring to work

it doesn't matter what gender I think both are capable of doing this job.
