i changed the sellenoid and think i may have forgotten whee the fusible links go on the sellenoid. Ford bronco ll and i know this is one of the easiest parts to replace but i cant get juice to the starter. The old one had only two diodes and one small one. the neww one ahs two big and two small. What am i doing wrong. Someone please help me.

The battery cable and all the other wires that have eyes go to one big terminal. The cable to the starter goes to the other big terminal. The small right angled wire with the cover on it goes to the "s" wire on the solenoid. If you look closely, you will see that the solenoid is labeled. The s terminal is start.

You are not doing anything wrong. You were given the wrong year solanoid. You describe a selonoid from and early Ford from 1957 to 1974, your newer Ford takes a different type like you described.

Check with auto zone's web site. They have a collection of schematics on different cars. Hopefully, they will have one on yours. good luck.
