dvd player wont play a burned dvd labeled dvd+rw

possible reasons why ...

1 - disk was not finalized.

2 - dvd player not equipped to play DVD RW's.

A DVD player is required to play only DVD-R video discs recorded in DVD-Video format. Any other support for -RW +R or +RW discs or -VR or +VR formats is extra!
(most now play +R but re-writables support is more complicated)

See if there is a firmware upgrade for your player.

if ur dvd player does not support the dvd+rw then there's no chance u can play it :(

some dvd players (mostly old ones) can't play re-writable dvds

or when the person was burning that dvd, you have to finalize the disk...so you cannot burn anything else on it again, or erase it for that matter
