I'd choose Paul S.

In a televised showdown with Way of the Master types, I think I'd want Brett A, who stays on message and uses the format of this site to his advantage.

In a debate with a bishop or other worthy of religion, I think I'd want Markyyy, who expresses himself eloquently and expertly.

In a nuts-and-bolts argument with an ID supporter, I think I'd want someone like Gazoo, who has a handle on the evidence science provides.

i know u said not to pick yourself, but I think that I offer some of the more competent questions here at the R/S section.
(feel free to roll your eyes)

not that i think i could debate on national television or anything like that though.

I think that having a national debate between the best of the best would be less effective than it would be if well respected public figures would finally come out and take a stand and say that humanism is backed by sincere and earnest inquiry, and that it is wrong to broadly label it as "the devils delusion"

Zero Cool is pretty clever. But then again Icarus can form a very persuasive argument mixed with compassion. The Great Gazoo, he's good. And I can't leave out Monica and Eri.....Man, I can't choose. There are just too many clever people here.

Wow! before I opened your question and saw "I'd choose Paul S." I thought of him immediately! He is intelligent, well spoken and seems like a great guy.

I would pick whomever can give an intelligent, honest, and non combative debate. Whoever that is on R&S has my vote.

Fireball. All we have to do is stand aside and let her talk. She does more for Atheism than any of the rest of us could do.
