uummm.... that's SO not a real WWII German dagger- if they are claiming it is, they need to be reported to eBay (it's a brand new aluminum replica and costs $9!). As far as collecting WWII memorabilia, that's okay- just don't pull a Prince Harry and dress up like Hitler for Halloween : )

As an experienced eBayer- I wouldn't buy from that seller- they don't have a great rating and they hold feedback hostage- and as a great buyer, that pisses me off!!

Hold out for a better find- you will find one!!

Good luck!

Its from the SLOVAKIAN military, the word is used usually in the context Czechaslovakia, but in reality to different cultures and areas.I would say its a modern reproduction of the WW2 Dress dagger for Slovakian military officers.
Before parting with your money do some research, using specific books and catalogs, many of these items are fake.

Having a historical relic would not make you a Nazi, no more than buying a K-Bar would make you a marine.

That being said the double cross symbol is a Slovakian national symbol and has nothing to do with Nazism and it really doesn't appear to be historical. Probably a modern replica.

I don't recognize it as any WWII German symbols. Don't worry about the swastika, collecting doesn't make you a nazi. Buyin a brown shirt, red swastika armband and goosestepping around does. I myself restored a german Luftwaffe helmet that my great uncle picked up after the battle of the bulge.

I looked, I'm not sure what the emblem is, I don't recognize it. But owning a historic relic does not make you a bad person or anything... I wouldn't start decorating in swastikas or anything, but historic relics are different.

It's a copy or a fake.
A real steel thing wouldn't be so shiny.
