I know all you UFC fans will say Sherk easy but I want to hear from someone who has seen them both fight and actually knows what they are talking about.

Benny was a great fighter, but he was a striker, not a grappler.
If it was a pure striking competition, Benny would destroy Sherk.
If it was mma, Sherk would take Benny to the ground, and destroy him with ground and pound.

Actually, Benny studied grappling. He just didn't use it in his matches. But since I haven't seen Sherk in action, I can't really answer this for certain. Though with Benny's tenacious fighting spirit and vast fighting experience coupled with his striking skills, I'd most likely bet on him win or lose.
