Why can't people understand the word "illegal"? It means: unlawful, against the law.

I never understood that if it is that bad in Mexico, Why don't the people rise up against the government like they are doing here?

It is only illegal if the law is being enforced.
Here in New York, loud pipes for cars and motorcycles are illegal "by law" but the police out of ignorance or lazyness are ignoring the law.
In the up-state county where I live some of the Deputies themselves are operating motorcycles will illegal pipes.
But becareful if you don't have your seat belt buckled.

That is why I refuse to even use the word immigrant when referring to these people. I call them illegal aliens. That is what we traditionally called them.
We are talking about 8-12 million illegal Mexicans. Do you realize that is more than all of the Irish, Italian and Jewish immigrants combined back in late 1800's?
That is more people than any other country has sent here legally.
This has got to stop!!!

Because when people say the word "illegal aliens".Liberals automatically think Mexicans.And then liberals think racism.Liberals think that people still base everything on race.Which people don't anymore.

They dont think they are doing any thing illegal. they think they have the right to the American Dream! It doesnt matter if they are hurting other people who have come here legally.

I understand that thanks.
But they are still human are they not?
and they don't come illegally for the heck of it.
Our gov either loses their papers or they are to poor and have no money back home so our gov does not give them papers.
If I was that poor and wanted to better my life.but the gov didn't let me.
I would hop the border.
