I'm 13 years old, 5'2", and 113.5 lbs. I want to get down to 100 within a few weeks. Nothing seems to be working... i am really muscular from dance, and i work out 2 hours a day not including dance (i did this before i started to diet.) I eat really healthy (less than 1000 calories a day). I even tried going back to being anorexic...but it didn't work. Lately i noticed that the sides of my stomach aren't as trim as they used to be, but maybe i just have huge hips. Anyway, what am i doing wrong? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would stop worrying about your weight. what do you look like in the mirror? do your clothes fit? you say you have big hips? better than boy hips! concentrate on how firm and trim you can be instead of what you weigh.

spend the next three weeks in a swimming pool swimming around. you wont have a problem. you'll look great.

First of all, relax, your weight it just fine. You do not need to lose weight at this point! Right around your age, your body starts to change. You also need to eat more then 1000 calories! All your going to do is starve your muscles to death eating that low of a calorie count. The bad thing about that is, it's muscle that burns calories. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body consumes during a day. Look around at adult women. At some point, they all were little girls too. But, bodies change as we grow up. Yeah, it's a little weird when your proportions change, but, that's just the way it is. I'm sure if you were getting overweight your dance instructor would let you know and give you a nutrition plan. You may want to talk to somebody like a teacher or school nurse about eating healthy. Eating less then 1000 cals a day isn't healthy at all.

You young, so your body should be burning calories like Crazy... try eating 6-8 small meals a day, some no larger than your fist. Your Body will adjust and you bound to lose weight along with your excercise.Dance moves can improve the sides of your stomach, notice how the professional dancers have great obliques? Get enough sleep, you dont know how important that is until you see the results. Stick with the Routine and dont give up Hope.Good luck.

I think you may be on the verge of another eating disorder.

Eating less than 1000 calories a day is NOT healthy and you don't need to be 100lb.

You need to go and see a doctor and get some professional help.

I agree with smilingfrown. 1000 calories a day is a dangerously low amount, especially considering the amount of activity you do each day. You do not need to be 100 pounds, you need to seek help.
