In R&S some of the answerers are so head strong, some fabricate and falsify evidences to justify their point of view at any cost, some hurl insults, insanities and abuses left, right and center and some other - what not. I suspect that full form of R&S is 'RELIGION AND STUPIDITY'. Well, by the time you guys respond to this, let me make a helmet for my avatar, I do not know how many brick-bats are on my way.

Wow, I am getting brickbats at my 'brick-bats'. Sooorrrryyyy, please remove the hyphen from middle.

Thanks everybody. It is 'best answer selection time', however, before that I will acknowledge a few a few answers:

La Beuna, Drizz and Dwayne - This was an observation in half jest. I am happy that it made you smile.

St. Louis, Taleisin, Diana and Carmandee - I am not above the fray, however, I belong to reasonable mainstream not that lunatic fringe about which I made that comment. Though that is a fringe but they try to hijack the section.

Kallan - Yes I would have left the section if it did not have a sane and reasonable mainstream. Besides, where else I will get such wild entertainment.

Diavola - Thanks and to be frank I am also not sure if this metaphor can be applied to religion as a whole, this section as a whole or to that lunatic fringe of this section.

Irena - A crown, that's a good rejoinder.

Taurus - I am not here to liberate anyone but I really like your 'Jell O' comment, I gives me a good smile when I visualize poke and wiggle.

Brick-bats...well that's a new one on me...

P.S. Did you come to help liberate those of us stuck here or just to poke at the section and watch it's weirdness wiggle like Jell-O...?

Your title to the question is aptly applied.

Many are offended on this forum, but not at the intent of the authors. However, this is yet another indicator of the human condition. People often speak their mind without regard to how it will be taken. Because you did not mean something to be offensive, does not make it "non-offensive."

On the other hand, I think all of us need to lighten up a bit. No one is personally attacking you unless you let them. Everyone has the ability to speak his/her mind, and if you find that someone's inner voice is a bit put-offish, read no further.

I have noticed some people doing that, fortunately I just don't bother paying any attention to them and stick to answering others questions the best I possibly can. Peace, and hope everyone's left their bats at home today!

Wow, no offense meant? In what alternate universe?
If you don't like this section there are plenty of others you can visit instead.
It takes a special kind of person with intellect and strength to hang out here. Obviously, you just don't have what it takes.. no offense is meant.

Things can get pretty hot in here... it's all a part of the forum. Take what you need, and leave the rest.

I, too, would like to know what a "brick bat" is...

Funny! Now I agree with that! No bat here. Just a smile. Have a good day!

Haha, Religion & Stupidity, that's brilliant!

Unfortunately, it's true. Does this reflect religion and spirituality as a whole, or rather, does it represent the community? @_@
I flock to dysfunction.

You should make a crown instead of a helmet, because you're the king of it all.

I think you meant to offend when you renamed us "Religion and Stupidity."

Oh wait, I just read the "40 year old virgin's" question. Point taken.

You are correct. Stick around a while you will be caught up in the madness as well.
