Christians say that they beleive in what the Bible says.

Sacred texts have been written by enlightened prophets in other religions with written texts, and some sacred pieces of writing and many oral traditions have been passed down in others.
What makes them wrong and the Bible right?

As a Christian I actually follow the teaching and guidance of Jesus Christ, not the Bible, although the new testament does provide alot of Jesus' teachings etc. I have found truth in other spiritual texts, as well as in fiction and fantasy, epic and short story. But truth is subjective and personal, if others choose to ignore other paths to the divine, choose to walk around with 'blinkers' on, then I say let them, they have to find their own path and truth.

The Bible makes it clear that many prophets from many religions exist and many were still to come after Bible times that will have so called "inspired messages". What is the destinguishing mark in the Bible is it has the proof test of prophecy. There have been more then 40 prophets in the Bible over a 2000 year period and yet the message of the Bible is a harmonious one. We can also destinguish if something is truly from God by its message:

Matthew 7:15-20

15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Oh heck I don't know. Maybe these sacred texts are not really sacred and maybe these prophets are not really prophets. Why do we have to believe that everybody that claims to be a prophet is a prophet? It is a matter of personal perspective. Kind of like watching a magician. Do you really believe David Copperfield or that Chris Angel dude ACTUALLY do those tricks?

The notion of right and wrong is not literal. Nor is the idea that everything in the Bible is to be taken literally, different Christians have different beliefs and they are all based in the interpretation of The Bible. To say you do not agree with something is not to say it is wrong, simply means to say that it is not part of my beliefs. I do not think that religion is something that can be dealt with absolutes. Let me put it this way if anyone presumes to be right then, they are presuming they understand God completely and that is pompous to say the least. We can only try to interpret.

They don't have Jesus. We do. Jesus has the only promise of life hereafter. Jesus has always been the difference and Jesus will always be the difference. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, and no man comes to the Father except by Me." The Bible has Jesus, the Father God, the Holy Spirit, the Creator, the great "I Am," the laws, the hope, the love, the freedom, the Salvation, the mercy and the grace. And that's just a small part of the Word of God.

The difference is Jesus and what Jesus did for us.

The Bible was written by men who were moved along by the Holy Spirit and the Bible has been put to the test many times and it has always been found to be accurate when speaking of the earth.

All other religious books ever written have been proven false when speaking about the earth so why would anyone believe what they say about the hereafter?

You forget that those other written texts do not mention the founder of christianity- Jesus. also, they are not bound to the old Judaeo testament with prophecies of the son. Its pretty simple. even Islam does not rcognize Christs divinity. You know- Christ, hence Christians.
