I took this test:
URL of the test: http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv
URL for more info: http://www.4degreez.com/disorder/index.html

And it appears I have this score:
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: Very High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: Very High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

Should I do anything about it? I am a successful IT Professional, by the way, so I am surprised about these results.

OK, I just took this test. It's rather obvious, isn't it? All the healthy answers are "no". All the "yes" answers are clearly linked to one or more of these disorders.

I answered honestly about moodiness and anger from my bipolar disorder, but still was rated low on everything because my relationships and self-image are pretty healthy.

You must have realized at some level that you were giving unhealthy answers regarding relationships and self-image. Then they added them up to get the pattern you describe. I very much doubt this test is specific to personality disorders. You scored badly on it because you don't have good relationships or self-image, for whatever reason, whether that's because you're young and haven't learned to be successful this way yet or for other reasons.

This test told you what you must have already known, that you're not happy with your relationships and self-image. I don't think it added any information to that. If you want to explore this further, I'd see a psychologist to discuss what actually holds you back this way. I doubt it's a personality disorder.

Yeah, I always thought there was something strange about you IT people===

Just kidding.

I wouldn't take that very seriously. I don't think this test is very reliable.

I work in mental health and I can't imagine any psychiatrist taking the results of this test seriously.

The questions are too subjective, and they are too "black and white." It takes way too much for granted.

I scored "moderate" in obsessive-compulsive and low in everything else. But I'm pretty familiar with the criteria for these disorders, and that's the result I would have expected.

Thanks for sharing, I had fun with this and I'd like to share this with people I work with--they'll get a laugh out of it.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you are actually dissatisfied with some aspect of your life. If you took the test for curiosity, you may want to look at the results and consider it as feedback to consider things you may wish to change, with or without therapy. If you took it in an attempt to try and understand what may be contributing to difficulties you have or dissatisfaction you experience, then it would be worth seeking therapy to further explore.
For my part, I took the test and can't say I disagreed with the results and I clearly understood what answers skewed me in one direction or another. The questions fairly well mimic diagnostic criteria for the personality disorders, but bear in mind that high on one does not necessarily mean that you have the disorder, just a fair share of characteristics of it. That does not always mean you need therapy either unless it is causing you (or others) chronic distress.

Are you concerned with the results? You could go to a mental health clinic to have an assessment done by a professional. The online quizzes are just a gauge and are very general.

Good luck and take care of you?

I think its commendable on your part to be looking inward toward the journey of self discovery.I saw your question and i also took the test and afew others.I see some of my internal problems clearly.I have learned to completely accept and love all the aspects of my self even negative.I try to live forward and not in the past.I work to conront my weaknesses sometime but i also need others in relationships to move forward.Sometimes that even means conflict in open and honest communication.I try not tobe aggressive in expressing myself that is consider others in the situation and use tact diplomacy and courtesy.Of course i blow it sometimes and when i do....i stand up and appologize and take responsibility.

I took one of those hour long test once and I got diagnosed with a bunch of disorders. I thought it was because of their stupid questions. . . do you ever wish you were a boy. . . do you ever wish that you were a girl. . . Then to have the same question repeated irritated me so I would answer it differently the second time around.

I think they need to come up with a better test.

The fact that you are considering/questioning it means you probably are as bad off as it looks.

Interesting. I would suggest seeing a mental health professional to get an accurate diagnosis. Hey, you aren't doing too badly...you have a professional career. Some people who have a severe mental illness take lots of meds and can't even hold down a job.

Those tests might be somewhat accurate, and maybe one wrong answer could throw the test off, but you should be tested professionally, and especially if if these so called implications are warrented by any of the behaviors that crop up in your life, personal or otherwise, you never mentioned if you exibited any of te behaviors.good luck!

Sounds very interesting, but if you are concerned, be tested by a person not a computer. Otherwise, you may be an interesting subject to study by psychiatrists.
