Many people believe that Jesus, when he was crucified, payed for the first sin, comited by Adam & Eve !
In fact, the only sin that he asked for forgiveness, was the sin of condeming him to death !
The first sin,by Adam & Eve,marked the beginning of the life of humans !
The snake said : You would become like gods, knowing good from evil.
What he is acctualy saying is that men were given free will.
The ability to choose from good or evil.
Now,christians, would you loose your free will, and be like cattle awaiting slaughter, for that is its main purpose ?
Would you still accept that Jesus takes this divine power from you ?
Or would you accept it as a gift, and really open your mind to the truth of what is good and what is evil ?

I really love you christian fanatics, always qouting some verses from the bible, but never using your mind to answer a question.
You would rather that Jesus answers them for you, than you answer them yourself,JUST LIKE YOUR SINS

Following your own logic, I would have to assume that you are a Christian. Otherwise, you would have this "divine" power you speak of and, if so, would have a better command of the English language. Your spelling sucks; your punctuation sucks and your question is not even a question. Get in line with the rest of us and await your slaughter my brother.

Ahhhhhhh. Your not looking far enough down the road. Even if I would get slaughtered. He will raise me up again.

Good thought provoking question though.

p.s. They would be as gods knowing good AND evil.
They already knew good all that was left was evil.
I enjoyed answering this
good evening

there is also the corporate aspect to the salvational work of Jesus Christ. Adams sin brought condemnation to the whole human race; God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the whole world to Himself. It's not just the individual, in fact it is the whole human race, before and after Christ.

Sorry, but God saves people by grace through faith from beginning to end. Adam and Eve were saved because they had faith in God's prophecy about the coming Messiah although of course they couldn't know that it would be Jesus. Abraham was saved by faith and so it goes.

Genesis 3:14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God. 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. 56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
