If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMG4d
The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

This has been a family favorite for years.
Hamburger Pie
I always double this recipe but I use 2 1/2 pounds of hamburger, and one egg in the potatoes.
1# ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
2- 16oz cut green beans, drained
1- 10 3/4 oz condensed tomato soup
1/4c. of water
salt and pepper to taste
3-4 med potatoes, peeled and quatered
1 beaten egg
milk
1/2 c. shredded chedder cheese
Cook hamburger and onion till meat is browned and onion is tender; drain off grease.
Stir in beans, soup, water and season with salt and pepper.
Place mixture in a pan.
Cook potatoes in salted boiling water about 20 min or until tender; drain. mash while hot; stir in egg. Add enough milk to make potatoes fluffy, yet stiff enough to hold their shape. Season with salt and pepper.
spread potatoes on top of meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
makes 4-6 servings

Save this one for the fall:
Hawaiian Baked Beans and Franks
Ingredients:
Family size can of baked beans and pork
4-6 slices crispy bacon, crumbled
Just the fruit of one can of pineapple chunks (drink the juice or use it for some other recipe.)
One to one and a half hot dogs per person, cut into chunks
Up to one sauteed onion (I prefer sweet onions) (to taste)
Method:
Throw all ingredients into a casserole pan, and stir.
Heat thoroughly, and the hot dogs will be plump and the pineapple will be golden brown.
Serve with mashed potatoes and / or cucumber salad.
(Another option:
Cut back on pineapple chunks, if you want to, and add one pineapple ring per serving on top, and put a maraschino cherry in the center of each ring for something special.)

my family likes themed nights. Like every thursday is pizza night, I buy from local meat marjet, italian stores have to, called:pizza set ups. I get all teh makings for 3 pizzas, $10. The crust, sauce, cheese, & sausage. So its cheap, & good. Family looks forward to thursdays.
Also do a mexican night. Buy soft shells, & hard shells, get some plates toss chopped up lettuce, shredded cheeses, chopped onions on plates. Can make there own toppings on it. Make some homemade salsa--easy. few tomatoes, chop up, chop finely some onions, maybe cilantro, but main part, a packet from store, Salsa, I think lawry's or someone makes it. just a dry package mix, toss with tomatoe & onion, MMMM same with avacadoes for guacamole, i use same packet. So you need:
hard/soft shells
cheese
lettuce
onion
hamburger--cheap, fry it up & its fast. Looks like a big feast & it is actually fast.
FAjitas is a fav too. soft shells
chop slice red pepper, & onion
i do chicken, just slice it up, toss in some spices
same for toppings--wa-la
grill
burgers, chicken patties--toss on bun
roast
crock pot
chunk of meat, roast
toss in carrots
dice potatoes
spice, salt, pepper, parsley, garlic--powder or chop fresh
maybe a packet of something, stew spices
only cup of water
with a spagetti dinner--garlic bread or garlic cheese bread, make or buy garlic bread, toss mozzarella cheese on top
my whole family likes salmon, toss on grill
salt pepper, lemon
serve w/ a potatoe or rice & veggie
a toasted sandwich, like a panini
on grill, or oven, or toaster maker
bread,
lunch meat, turkey, whatever
cheese on top pice bread & bottom to make it stick
but put meat, & whatever insides,
i do
bread, layer, shredded cheese turkey, sauteed onion, peppers & mushrooms, layer cheese & top--put on grill 5 minutes, flip other side few minutes--done
you can do with sliced chicken breasst too, leftovers from night before, or ham or whatever. easy & fast & good
fruit salad
with whatever dinner i find my kids eat more fruit if i chop it all up on a big plate on dinner table. whather its strawberries or sliced banannas, or apples--all devore it.
good luck
