recently my bf started to stop smoking as hes trying to quit and started working out at the gym (buffen up since hes slender). he had wanted to do the gym thing after i told him i went to a lingerie party with a bunch of my fellow college athletes and teammates. he mentioned how he never was able to do it before as he had tried. does he mean that im helping him do it or like hes trying to change to be healthy as well as for me?

Does it really matter? Just be happy and supportive that he's changing for the better.

Good for him!
I have never smoked but should be getting back to the gym now that I have my Master's degree. I intend to after I am done studying for my certification exams. I am by no means slender. All that studying the past 20 months has given me a sizable paunch. I weighed 210 when I sat for and passed the CPA exam in 2002, but dropped 30 pounds in about three months when I hit the gym again, doing some hard-core cardiovascular and doing liquid meals about twice a day. I was mean and grouchy for awhile because I was so hungry, but after a few weeks I adapted.
This had better be for him, because if it isn't, he will not follow through. But if you have only been with your boyfriend for 11 days, how do you know he just started thinking about this only after he met you? It could have been on his mind for months before.

Does it really matter? I think that if he is stop smoking he love you. Just be happy and support that he's changing for the better and for the better for the both of you. He really expressing the love for you. In the end you will love the buffin up and extra time he will have for you. He will be saving 800 dollars a year by stop smoking as well and add ten years to his life.

I think it is a little bit of both, you should be thankfull that he stopped smoking. That is great though, if he is doing it for you then I think that is a good relationship. Hope you two do well together!

since you only been with him for 11 days, it may be you gave him enough motivation, to look better for you and your teammates. who knows what he was actually thinking, its good though isnt it!!!! give him all the praise for making the
right choices.

He better be doing it for himself or it won't work. I am so happy for you. My friend smokes and now keeps spitting crap out of his throat. It makes me sick.

don't believe you have anything to do with it, it was just that he decided to do this for himself
