Evolution happens from collective changes over MILLIONS of years not just a couple thousand. And by the way we are still evolving. Did you know that the average height for a human is taller now than it was just a couple of hundred years ago? That IS evolution in the short term. As we continue to evolve we will gain more and more collective changes. The more complex the organism the longer it takes for the collective changes to accumulate into what we today would call a different species. After all humanity was the one who came up with the idea of what made a species what it was and that was mostly based on appearance.

Recorded history is the blink of an eye when you're talking about evolution. However, people who live in different parts of the world physically adapted to the environment. For example, those who live in cold areas like Scandinavia developed, over a long period of time, long, slender noses. Why? So the air would travel a longer way in the nose and be warmed and humidified. Those living in hot, humid climates like Africa had no need for such an adaptation, so noses tended to be more wide and flat as the air was already warm and humid and could be taken directly into the lung as it was. Darker skin prevents Vitamin D poisoning from exposure to sunlight.
"If evolution is true?" It IS true. Deal with it instead of coming up with silly arguments to try to disprove something you don't even understand.

Life developed on this planet about 3.5billion years ago. Mammals arrived about 200 million years ago. The human line separated from the chimpanzee line about 7 million years ago. Many different species of hominid evolved, one line of which led to modern humans who evolved from Homo erectus perhaps 250,000 years ago. Neanderthals, another human species also evolved from Homo erectus but earlier than modern humans. Neanderthals are now extinct but modern humans are still around. Recorded history goes back perhaps 10,000 years with some art works 40-50,000 years old. This is the merest blink inthe time of the planet.
Evolution is still occurring but it doesn't happen overnight, it takes time. Come back in a million years and see what our descendents look like.

You haven't even evolved as far as most humans, what makes you think you'd have wings? Seriously, evolution takes millions of years and changes are almost always very subtle and almost unnoticeable between generation to generation. You obviously have never learned anything about the Theory of Evolution, and as such, are unfit to make any claims in regards to it. If you wish to speak from knowledge, please come back when you have read some actual science.

Why do people confuse genetics with evolution.
Genetics says a white mouse and a black mouse mate and they produce a wide variety of mon and two tones color mice.
Evolution says if white mice are runninig around in an african jungle they might evolve into a different color scheme due to the environmental and predatory conditions. So solid white mice could become dark gray mice to blend with the soil or dark green to blend with the folliage and it has nothing do with mating green and gray mice. It has to do with gradual genetic changes to adapt them to the environment.
And it happens over time.
Black and white mice change the color scheme in one generation.
What would be more likely, however is the white mice might see teeth changes, which could also make them more preditory. That's a better change idea than color, which is not imposible but harder to accomplish.

Well, on the evolutionary scale, humans are a fairly 'young' species. Our recorded history is far too short. Evolution doesn't happen over thousands of years, it's tiny steps over millions of years.
Plus, it's still such a mystery! Really an exciting feild.
That said, wings would be sweet. If only we can play with the physics to make it work.

Just because your not intelligent or educated enough to understand something, it doesn't make it false. Nor does having an opinion make you right.
The only thing that matters is that evolution has been proved and is accepted by the scientific community. Every credible scientist in the world accepts evolution.
I hope you've enjoyed your summer vacation, but when you get back to school you really need to hit those books.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but the human race is no longer evolving. It is actually going through a process known as De-evolution in which the species, instead of steady advancement, experiences a steady decline in mental faculties, reasoning ability and empathy. It is also marked by a belligerent attitude and an almost obsessive need to show other people up.

We have.
Since the 1600s
- Our little toes have shortened
- Our jaws are smaller which is why most people have to get their wisdom teeth pulled.
- We are about 20% taller.
Those are all heritable traits.
Also in the last 2000 years we walk much more upright. There have been several measurable changes in the pelvis and lower back to go along with this.

You think that your blindness makes you funny? Has the brain of humans remained unchanged over the past 5,000 years? Has their culture remained unchanged? If you do not recognize that language and culture have evolved over the past 5,000 years, then you are blind. Are you proud of this, or are you just blind? You joke about wings, as though it will draw attention away from the fact that your question is foolish.
