Well some can. 'Ghost hunters' some like to call it. But in modern times, we use Ouija Boards, pendulums, and much more to talk to spirits/the dead. In the future, who knows!

Why would you want to talk to someone who isn't capable of responding? Or who has no idea that you are trying to talk to them?
Sounds like an awfully fruitless conversation to me . . . .

I think we can talk to them.....but I think they've evolved past needing or wanting to talk to us.
