Clearly, an omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent god does not exist.

You're asking the wrong group. You are confusing the Christian conception of God with the Eastern conception of God. This is common even for young Christians. The Christian God is not any of those things in the sense they are used in the East.
However, to answer why such a God would "create" such a world:
He wouldn't. It would HAVE to exist, along with the perfect one you describe, along with every kind of world.
Being all powerful, such a being wouldn't be called "all-powerful" just to be "able to do anything". He would DO everything. Everything that could be done (potential) would actually be done. No potential, all actual. Unicorns would exist. There would be places where NO evidence of God would exist, where many gods existed, etc. If any possibility were left out, that would be one thing that God does not do and thus God would not be all-powerful.
We use the term "all-knowing" this way. It doesn't mean, God COULD know anything. It means he knows EVERYTHING. Actual, not potential.
This world is a necessary extension of the very nature of God. Heaven exists. Hell exists, reincarnation exists. From another perspective, they don't. In fact, there would have to be perspectives from which it would be impossible for such things to exist.
Funny that our physics research is starting to come to some of these same ideas by way of mathematics and study of sub-atomic particles.
None of this is proof, and depends on assuming that such a "being" exists, but if they do, we, you, me, all have to as well.

How do you know most inhabitants will end up in Hell? Everyone will have the opportunity, if not in this life, then after. It is all a test. You could give the kid some food, after all that is what Christ said,
Matthew 25
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

1. God made it this way on purpose. he gives us free will. if we don't choose to follow him, we end up in hell. because we didn't make the right choice.
2. I am a Christian, and my duty is to spread the gospel of Jesus to everyone, so that they will b able to make the choice to follow Jesus or not....
3. God is perfect and has everything the way it is for a purpose. his plan is perfect, and to us, it may seem a bit mixed up or strange( because there have been many times where i myself have questioned God's will for my life) but God knows what he's doing, and to him, his plan is prefect, and everything will unfold in time. we just have to be patient.
4. If you are so worried about the starving kid, give some food your self. it's not that god is too busy, but if god gave us everything we needed and wanted in an instant -POOF!- we wouldn't appreciate god when we ACTUALLY REALLY needed him, because we would just b expecting it all the time. make sense?

catholics (i don't know about all other christian religions) believe god gave everyone free will to do as they please so if people end up in hell then that's their fault. basically you only get help if you ask for it and pray to be christ-like. i am a catholic and i go to catholic school but i don't believe most of the stuff i'm taught. i don't think that praying has anything to do with things that happen. i think things just happen by chance and not through prayer. i never pray for the things i want or need but i get them anyway.

I hope that I can make sense of what I want to say. Football game first: the team prays and as they do they feel power and drive to get on te field and play. this causes them to play better and as a result they do. It is a belief that helps this to happen. That child has been crying and you see an ad that tells you that God is calling YOU to send money to sponsor that child. That call was for you to be God's hands on earth and you .............

A very good example of how people expose their ignorance when they continue to try and live by the BS religions of 2000 to 5000 years ago.

Because life is not directed by some almighty puppeteer. It's all luck, random chance and directed effort. Your examples are fine reminders of how important it is to strive for what you want, as opposed to praying to an invisible sky pixie.
