if you need 3/4 of a cup for anything else, you can always use your 1/4 measuring cup and 3 of those would be your 3/4. or use your 1/2 cup and your 1/4 cup to get the same thing.

I have a recipe that requires 3/4 cup vegetable oil. Now, I m wondering if I can switch that for melted butte instead? It s a muffin recipe.
And if i can, then, A; should I first measure up 3/4 cup hard butter, and then melt it, or B; should I melt hard butter and then measure it up to 3/4 cup?
