I have studied North Korea and its people. If you were to ask them, they would not think they were brainwashed. It is more the way of life there and the isolation that affects the people.
They simply do not trust outsiders and are a very loyal people to their leader. So I do not think it would take any more camps to keep them in check.
Also the nuclear program is really just to get money from America. Kim knows how to get paid.

Is it the one where the doctor did the cataract operations to 1000 north koreans? I watched it and based on that one I dont think any of them would have the courage to revolt against Kim Jong II.
To answer your question however, I would say definitely he would build more camps

Yes it would. But more likely they would simply start executing those who dissented.
The fact is that the North Koreans have been so cut off from the outside world that they believe they are living better than the rest of the world. They truly believe because of the 'educational' program there, that the 'great leader' is treating them well.
The chance of a revolution there is pretty remote.

Soviet Union-Gone
China-moving towards capitalism
N. Korea-very very very very dependent on China. They have cut off oil and food before. Putin would likely nuke the moron himself.
The clock is ticking for kim jong very ill and he knows it.
I would call his nuke more of a nuclear hand grenade. They are currently scheduled to shut down the reactor in July. Like Iran they speak loudly because they have no stick.

he has convinced his people that they are still at war with the U.S. and has forbidden them from seeing anything else... I think if they were to really learn the truth the whole country might revolt and would overthrow him... but then the country would be in shambles because it takes awhile to go from totalitarianism to democracy, and the the Republic for which it stands one nation under God, the U.S might step and try and rebuild it and we have seen how good we are at rebuilding things... look at Katrina and Iraq! But i also hope that they stop with the nuclear stuff!!

The man is a true communist hero that's what he wants all NK to think.
What everyone forgets is that North koreans were chemed by americans during the korean wars. The still have a very vivid memory of that and even if there was no KJI they would still hate americans.

If the "take over" wasn't successful-yes. This man is narsacistic. He thinks so highly of himself, that he cares about no one else as much as he cares about himself. Yes, he has brainwashed them, and mainly made them fearful of him, and his power. That is why they have submitted to him-out of fear. He obviously has no true care for his people-that is why they are straving, etc.
If the people were to successfully revolt against him, that would be a completely different matter.
