Tell me after you see so much misery on earth. Your god created us imperfect, but blame us for it. He created a devil too, who can't trust, or can't make him do, just to make us so unhappy. A god that is watching every move we do, to burn us in hell. A god that allows suffering in every inch and extent, and can't stop it, even when he is the ultimate power and have anything to prove. One who gave his blood for our sins, yet we are still sinners in his eyes, and we still doomed! And here is my god: people's hearts and actions; and here is my dream: that some day, peace be on earth, and everybody will be good to each other, and healthy ad happy, and that we can enjoy this earth and life the way it was meant to be.
That's why i think that your god was created by humans in the name of religion to supress the masses, and profit My god was created by some superior thing that i don't know or understand, but that works much better for me than the first one! So tell me, who is your god

God created man as earthly perfect as possible
God created no devil, but Lucifer, an angel

I'm tired of having to explain some of the reasons God lets bad things happen. a lot of times it's our fault for not letting Him in, sometimes He has greater motives than we know.

God gave His blood not to atone all of mankind, but to atone all who repent. It was mankind's potential to accept it. we're sinners by choice.

peace on earth? not in my lifetime. that's an unrealistic goal. tolerance? pointless. forcing tolerance creates more intolerance.

shouldn't one who wants world peace be striving to atleast make one heart better, by oh, say.... not insulting someone else's beliefs? you're just an Einstein ain't ya...

I think you are missing a critical point in your judgment. Everyone of us has an opportunity. . . You are FREE to do whatever you want. What you do with that freedom is your choice and your choice only. People choose to be greedy, envious, even violent, there is no Satan whispering in their ears. How convenient it is to blame everything and anything on someone else (God or the devil). By your reasoning we create criminals when we create laws to be broken. Your solution, no law no criminals? Since you are speaking of the devil I assume you have a Juedo-christian background (belief?) God is not out there to catch you the concept of ATONEMENT is a cornerstone of the Church. You can be forgiven if you really repent. The concept of Hell is simply the absence of God (no sulfur) Your dream sounds good and it is a worthy ideal to fight for somewhat naive.

In regards to misery, Ecclesiastes 4:1 blames other humans. "Again I looked and saw all the oppression that was taking place under the sun: I saw the tears of the oppressed— and they have no comforter; power was on the side of their oppressors— and they have no comforter."

A difference between the God of the Bible and secular thought is the attitude towards authority. Parents have authority in the Bible just because they do. They don't have to earn it. Adam is blamed for the sin that entered the world in Romans 5:12. "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned."

Just because the Devil was given power as conscious being doesn't mean that he had to misuse it. John 13:3-5 says that this is how Jesus used God's power. "Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples' feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him."

The purpose of God's watching, according to the Bible, is "to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him." (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Yes, we must suffer with Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5 - "For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ." Christ's body is the church.

I was looking up the meaning of the word "shelter" recently. Its derivation, according to the online dictionary, is from Old English scieldtruma, equiv. to scield shield + truma body of fighting men; see trim. There are many words in the English language that have a military flavour to them. The two gods, according to the Bible, both fight. Ephesians 6:14-18 gives the spiritual armour that Christians should use against the wicked spirits. 1 Peter 5:8 says that Satan "prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

you have so many misconceptions, it is hard to know where to begin.

God allows us to have free will and most of the misery in this world is caused by people who use their free will to hurt other people or simply not to help other people. What have you done to help?

What would you have God do to stop us from hurting each other? Take away our free will? Change the laws of physics so that weapons turn to dust? Volcanoes can only erupt when there are no people around. I for one want free will and I want the laws of physics to work all the time.

:O

You don't have your facts straight!

Na-na-na-na-na-na!

Erm, I mean, God created us and gave us everything we needed, and yet we bought into the temptation and did the ONE THING we were told not to do. So, we were thrown from the Garden to the imperfect Earth. He did not create Satan- he created Lucifer, an archangel, an angel of the highest power. Lucifer decided to become Satan, basically.

Moreover, all we need to do to gain entrance into Heaven is to repent- repent our sins, our wrong doings, and try our best to love Him. Then we can go to Heaven.

So, in theory, He's really not that bad of a guy.

Oh, and you're being very hypocritical, telling others their God was made for the purpose of gaining power, however YOUR God was made by something bigger. Pffft.

It would appear that your understanding of "your God" (as you address your question to all) is from the Bible. There are many other sources to consult. It is always wise in all walks of life to seek more than one opinion. Broaden your horizons and open your mind to other perspectives, and you just might see another side.
