It's not a law, yet, it's still a bill. And, yes, I'm against the Amnesty Bill.

A quick google search turned up these:

Ok here are some of my personal ideas... spread them around.
1) For each technical professional who enters the country on an H1B visa allow them to bring upto 10 family members at the time of entry. They must show up at the same time with the sponsor. The family members would be Mom dad grandparents siblings cousins...whoever. The sponsoring company can pay for the background checks and can pay to expidite if required. They will pay cause they need the engineer nurse or whatever. The benifit of this system is that it Keeps families together, limits/eliminates remitances(money sent back to family), and bring in unskilled workers who are tied to a proffesional with a good job. The working professional will help provide for healthcare and can help to prevent exploitation of the unskilled workers. Also, because the working professional is sponsored by their job they will be less likely to bring in bad people. the benifits keep going.
2) The regular immigration process is rediculously long and stupid. Put your money into streamlining the system. Computer databases are much faster than filing paper cards(still done). We do not need a super background check on everyone, be serious, Mali will not have an internet based system for instant searching. A quick check with local PD to see if its the guy they've been looking for will suffice. Equip the consolate offices with better equipment.
3) Continue with the border fence as passed under current law(700 miles). Make sure that the legal path of imigration is the path of least resistance.
4) do not offer a path to citizenship for those who are here illegally now. It is unjust to allow the car thief to keep the car, no matter what you offer as penalty. Allow immigration and customs enforcement to continue as they are now, arresting and deporting at a reasonable pace. Over time people will choose to put a relative trough college back home and come in legally with them. Sure its cheating the system but they pay for kids to go to college, I'm ok with that.
Thats enough for now. Email for more info.

Attrition through Enforcement

The principle behind Attrition Through Enforcement is that living illegally in the United States will become more difficult and less satisfying over time when the government – at ALL LEVELS – enforces all of the laws already on the books. It is also imperative that the government with the full cooperation of the private sector, implements certain workplace enforcement measures. The goal is to make it extremely difficult for unauthorized persons to live and work in the United States. There is no need for taxpayers to watch the government spend billions of their dollars to round up and deport illegal aliens; they will buy their own bus or plane tickets back home if they can no longer earn a living here.

Recent Raids Work, Open Up Jobs for Americans

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents recently conducted a series of raids on Swift and Company meat packing plants in six states and arrested almost 1,300 illegal aliens. We learned three very important things from these raids:

1) Americans take the jobs illegal aliens leave behind : The day after the raids took place, the media reported that plenty of legal workers lined up to apply for the jobs left vacant by the illegal aliens who fled or were arrested.

2) Identity fraud and illegal immigration are connected : Hundreds of the illegal aliens who were arrested are suspected of using the name and SSN of an American citizen. You can fight illegal immigration by fighting identity fraud.

3) Attrition Through enforcement works: Over 400 illegal aliens skipped town after Swift dropped hints about ICE's suspicions. Once the message gets out that there aren’t any jobs for illegal aliens, they leave.

Boycott Companies who hire illegals.

You are missing the reason why people oppose this law.

This problem can not be fixed in one sweeping bill.
It should be done in several separate bills.

Bill One

First, the opponents want the border secured. They are concerned with stopping the in-flow of illegals, first and foremost. Secure the borders!

Bill Two
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
In an immigration bill, this is what I would like to see.

Deport the tens of thousands of illegals in our jails and prisons. Get them out of here.

Enforce the labor laws, and fine businesses that hire illegals.

Ask the current illegals to return home and reenter under worker visas.

No visas for extended family, no waivers, and no visas until background checks are done.

If foreign nationals want to come here to work, thats fine with me, but there must be strict time limits, and they must go home when the time expires. If they want to return, they can reapply for another visa.
The government should put into place a system to verify who is coming in, and who is leaving, and who is overdue to return home. If they don't leave when their time is up, they need to found and deported, and refused entry ever again.

I have no problem with wanting to come here for work. I do have a problem with wanting to come here for work, and then staying forever. That is wrong. If they want to become citizens, then they can apply through that process.

If after a certain time period after the new law goes into effect, say 18 months, and these people have not left on their own, then when they are found, through raids, employers reporting them, etc. they should be deported and never be allowed to return.

Don't make us all out to be Mexican haters or racists. Some of us think a program can be set up to allow those who want to work, to come here and work. We just don't believe that a blanket amnesty is good for any of us. And its not fair to the millions of people from around the world who want to become Americans, to be sent to the end of the line. There is already a path to citizenship in place.

We have proposed solutions. However, none of them are up in the amendments and nothing else is being allowed to be brought up.

So at the moment they are irrelevant.

The bill is worse than preserving the status quo.

ENFORCE CURRENT LAWS!! If the employers got in trouble and needed to PAY for their actions then they wouldn't hire illegal aliens to begin with. If there are no jobs or places to live the illegal aliens would self deport.

The people in office don't want to do this. WHY? You ask?

BECAUSE THEY WANT THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION TO GO THROUGH WHICH COMBINES MEXICO, THE USA, AND CANADA! If you don't believe me google NAU and the SPP and the AMERO.
