i currently have a 2006 ustang v6 but im getting ready to sell it and i wanna get a new car thats faster but i dont want it to be older then 2005

the fastest factory car under 20k is the SRT-4

you might consider a saturn Sky Redline, I belive they are near the price you have stated.
If you need the extra room of a sedan, the Dodge SRT-4, Mazda Speed 6, Mazda Speed 3.
If you prefer Rear wheel drive the RX-8 is an awsome handeling car (mabey nto fast as you are lookign for though) the 350 Z and the PontiaC GTO is a serisou screamer, but would be hard to find for your price.
If you liek your mustang you should be able to find a clean 05 mustang GT with a 5speed in that price range.

GTO---V-8 muscle...you'll never go back to 4 or 6 cylinders.
